Efficiency leader, weak in heat
The Vikram Solar PARADEA series consists of bifacial glass-glass modules with a multi busbar (MBB) architecture, designed to effectively increase energy yield even under less-than-ideal conditions. Due to its bifacial operation, the panel can utilize not only direct sunlight, but also reflected light from the ground, which is particularly beneficial for installations on reflective surfaces (e.g., gravel, sand, snow). In practice, this results in better production in the morning and evening, as well as higher daily yield, without the need for over-sizing the system.
The double-glass construction provides greater resistance to environmental factors, while the solutions in the connection box and the wiring configuration support more stable operation under partial shading. This makes it a good choice for investors who are looking for lower LCOE and BOS costs, as the higher power density facilitates the optimization of the structure and wiring. PARADEA is suitable for PV farms, commercial projects, and selected rooftop installations, where durability, yield, and predictability are key.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale and shaded-installations.
Hot climates and weight-limited structures.
Top 4% of the PERC 650-700 W segment, against a median of 21.25%. Ranked 7,434th in the whole database.
Top 6% of the PERC 650-700 W segment, against a median of 212.5. Ranked 7,413th in the whole database.
Bottom 10% of the PERC 650-700 W segment, against a median of -0.340.
Bottom 13% of the PERC 650-700 W segment, against a median of 52.3.
- Efficiency of 21.7% matches the PERC 650-700W median
- At 217.3 W/m² power density, this panel generates 4.8 W/m² more per unit area than PERC 650-700W median (212.5 W/m²)
- At -0.35%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for PERC 650-700W panels
- At 39.5 kg, this panel is 5.0 kg heavier than the PERC 650-700W median (34.5 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- Bifaciality factor of 70% can add 4-10% extra yield with reflective mounting surface

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by Vikram Solar in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 675 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
