The AIKO Comet 2U (AIKO-G-MCH72Mw) is a monocrystalline mono-glass module series designed for maximum yield from the same rooftop or ground area. Its key advantage is the n-type ABC (All-Back Contact) technology – all the metalization is located on the rear side of the cell, leaving the front side free from busbars and fingers, which improves light absorption and the aesthetics of the installation. In practice, this translates to higher energy production in real-world conditions, especially where every square meter counts.

The Comet 2U addresses typical challenges faced by installers and investors: thanks to better performance at high temperatures, the modules maintain their power output more steadily during summer, and the refined structure supports resistance to micro-cracks, limiting the risk of performance degradation over time. This is the series for demanding projects – from homes with limited roof pitches, through commercial roofs with high self-consumption targets, to utility-scale farms where BOS costs and long-term reliability matter. Compared to many TOPCon or PERC solutions, it stands out for its focus on yield, safety, and longevity, rather than just catalog parameters.
