Space saver, no clear weak spot
The HYPERSOL VSMDH.66 series represents Vikram Solar's next-generation photovoltaic modules built on the rectangular G12R wafer format. Instead of conventional square cells, the manufacturer relies on N-Type TOPCon cells in a half-cut configuration, which reduces resistive losses and improves module performance under partial shading - a common issue on roofs with complex geometry. The series' defining feature, however, is its bifacial design, allowing the module to capture additional energy from light reflected off the surrounding surface, making it particularly well suited for ground-mount installations, light-colored roofs, and elevated racking systems. The G12R format combined with a higher cell count delivers strong unit power output while keeping module dimensions close to standard panels, simplifying system design and lowering BoS costs. The HYPERSOL VSMDH.66 series targets both commercial investors and utility-scale developers seeking high energy yield and a lower LCOE over the module's operating lifetime. The panels come with a 30-year product warranty and hold IEC, UL, and BIS certifications, confirming their reliability across international markets.
