Middle of its segment, needs the roof space
The Ulica Solar TSM156-9-620-645BNDG series is designed for installations where maximizing energy yield per square meter and stable performance in challenging conditions are paramount. These are bifacial modules that can actively utilize reflected light from the ground, allowing for increased energy production without expanding the structure. The use of N-type silicon cells with TOPCon technology results in lower losses over time and better performance at high temperatures, which is particularly beneficial on roofs and solar farms during the summer months.
The double glass variant enhances resistance to moisture, microcracks, and accelerated aging, making the series suitable for long-term projects and areas with strong winds and heavy snow loads. An additional advantage is the long, multi-year power warranty, which is important for the bankability of the investment.
This is a sensible choice for PV farms, warehouses, and industrial buildings, as well as for installations on roofs with good sunlight or reflective surfaces, where single-sided modules may not provide the desired energy yield.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale, hot-climate and cold-climate.
Roofs where every square metre has to count and tight roof space.
Bottom 9% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of 227.7. Ranked 5,869th in the whole database.
Bottom 12% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of 22.80%.
- At 22.2% efficiency, this panel is 0.6pp below the TOPCon 600-650W median of 22.8%
- 221.8 W/m² power density is 5.9 W/m² below TOPCon 600-650W median (227.7 W/m²) - requires larger installation area
- At -0.29%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for TOPCon 600-650W panels
- Bifacial design (80% factor) captures reflected light - adds 4-12% yield on ground-mount or white roof
- #5817 for efficiency, #2165 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by Ulica Solar in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 620 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
