Strong in heat, no clear weak spot
The Horay Solar HS 210R-132 TC-D Cosmos series is a range of modules designed to maximize energy yield in installations where every square meter counts. The use of N-type TOPCon cells minimizes typical power losses over time and improves performance in demanding conditions, resulting in more predictable energy production throughout the product's lifespan. The bifacial design allows for effective utilization of reflected light from the ground - particularly on light-colored roofs, in ground-mounted systems, and carport structures.
In practice, this series solves common problems for investors: improved performance under less sunlight, higher resistance to degradation, and more stable output at higher temperatures. The glass-glass version of the modules increases durability and resistance to environmental conditions, which will be appreciated by installers of C&I and PV farm projects.
The Cosmos series also features a 210R format, which simplifies the construction of modern strings and optimizes the design for inverters and accessories, without compromising reliability.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Commercial and utility-scale.
Top 7% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of -0.290. Ranked 1,309th in the whole database.
Top 16% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of 227.7.
Top 17% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of 22.80%.
The HS 210R-132 TC-D in its 630 Wp variant achieves 23.3% module efficiency, matching Jinko Tiger Neo 66HL4M-BDV (23.32%) and Canadian Solar TOPBiHiKu6 (23.3%). The series sits at the very top of available 132-cell bifacial TOPCon modules, outperforming the Leapton LP182*199-M-72-NH (22.54%) by nearly 0.8 percentage points.
Horay Solar provides a 15-year product warranty, while direct peers — Jinko Tiger Neo and Canadian Solar TOPBiHiKu6 — offer only the 12-year industry standard. The 30-year linear power warranty guarantees a minimum of 87.4% of rated power after 30 years, in line with best-in-class practice.
N-type TOPCon cells exhibit LID degradation below 1% (vs. ~2–3% for PERC) and a more favorable temperature coefficient for Pmax, resulting in measurably higher annual energy yield, especially in climates with frequent high temperatures and variable irradiance.
The dual-glass (glass-glass) construction delivers IP68 ingress protection, enhanced resistance to mechanical stress, moisture, and PID, extending operational lifespan. Bifacial design enables additional energy harvest of 5–20% in ground-mounted systems, carports, and light-colored flat roofs, directly reducing installation LCOE.
Horay Solar appears on the BloombergNEF Tier 1 list from Q1 2025 (confirmed Q1 2026), meeting bankability requirements for project finance in C&I and utility-scale PV. The manufacturer has an annual module production capacity of ~2.5 GW and over 15 years of industry experience (founded 2010).
Horay Solar's annual production capacity (~2.5 GW) is significantly lower than Jinko Solar or Canadian Solar (tens of GW), which may constrain supply certainty and BoS planning for utility-scale procurement above 50 MWp. For C&I and residential installations this is not a practical constraint.
Tier 1 status achieved only in 2025 means a shorter documented bankability history compared with long-established segment leaders (Jinko Solar has been on the BNEF Tier 1 list for many years). Conservative project finance lenders may require a longer confirmed delivery history before accepting the manufacturer in their underwriting process.
- At 23.3% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical TOPCon 600-650W modules
- At 233.2 W/m² power density, this panel generates 5.5 W/m² more per unit area than TOPCon 600-650W median (227.7 W/m²)
- Temperature coefficient of -0.28%/°C matches the TOPCon 600-650W median
- At 33.7 kg, weight matches the TOPCon 600-650W median
- Bifacial design (80% factor) captures reflected light - adds 4-12% yield on ground-mount or white roof
