Middle of its segment, short guarantee
The Hanersun Hitouch 6 (HN21-66H) series is designed to maximize energy yield while reducing construction and installation costs. In practice, this means combining a large-format wafer with mono PERC technology and a half-cut design, which improves module performance under partial shading and in more demanding operating conditions. The use of multi-busbar architecture (SMBB) along with "round wire" solutions supports a more stable current flow and reduces losses, resulting in a more efficient daily energy production.
Compared to many competing modules, this series stands out due to its high cell density, which effectively utilizes the panel's surface area. The HN21-66H is particularly suitable for projects where quick returns are important, such as large-scale PV farms and commercial installations that require reliable, consistent quality and predictable performance over many years.

Utility-scale, commercial and shaded-installations.
Owners who want a long output guarantee and roofs where every square metre has to count.
Bottom 21% of the PERC 650-700 W segment, against a median of 30 yrs.
Bottom 24% of the PERC 650-700 W segment, against a median of 212.5.
Peak module efficiency of 21.6% matches the best available alternatives in the 670 Wp class — Hiwatt HW-M12/132H (21.6%) and ZNShine ZXM8-TP132 (21.57%). The series is fully competitive with its direct peers in terms of power density.
Multi-busbar interconnection using round-wire SMBB technology reduces thermo-mechanical cell stress and resistive losses. The half-cut layout halves the short-circuit current per string, limiting mismatch losses under partial shading and improving system performance in challenging irradiance conditions.
The large-format 210 mm cell enables up to 670 Wp per module. At utility scale, this translates into fewer modules per MW and lower DC cabling, racking, and labor costs — reducing overall BoS expenditure.
The manufacturer guarantees a linear power degradation schedule over 25 years — the standard required by most project finance lenders for PV assets. This provides revenue predictability in DCF models for commercial-scale plants.
Production has ceased and new modules are effectively unavailable on the open market. In the event of a module failure or the need to expand an existing installation, sourcing identical units is no longer possible. Manufacturer technical support is focused on active product lines (Hitouch 6N, TOPCon), increasing service and warranty risk for long-term projects.
Hanersun's own successor — the Hitouch 6N — achieves 24.1% efficiency versus 21.6% for this series (a 2.5 percentage-point gap, equivalent to approximately +11.5% energy yield for the same array footprint). The Hitouch 6N also offers near-zero LID/LeTID degradation and a bifacial option with an additional 10–30% energy gain. The PERC technology selected in 2021 is now technologically obsolete.
Hanersun achieved BNEF Tier 1 classification only in Q2 2023 — at the very end of this series' production run (2021–2023). During 2021–2022, the absence of Tier 1 status may have complicated or increased the cost of project finance for installations built around the HN21-66H modules.
The product warranty stands at 12 years, whereas 15 years is becoming the market standard in the 650+ Wp segment — offered by competitors including Jinko Solar Tiger Neo and LONGi Hi-MO 6. For insurers and large-scale project developers, 12 years represents the lower boundary of acceptable coverage.
- Efficiency of 21.1% matches the PERC 650-700W median
- At 210.9 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for PERC 650-700W panels
- Temperature coefficient of -0.34%/°C matches the PERC 650-700W median
- #9297 for efficiency, #8778 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
