Middle of its segment, weak in heat
The Axitec AXIbiperfect GQ TS series is designed for high performance in real-world conditions, both on rooftops and in ground-mounted installations. The use of a dual-sided bifacial design allows for the utilization of reflected light from the ground, which translates into improved energy production in situations where every additional kilowatt-hour counts. The modules are based on N-Type TOPCon cells, which are valued for their stable performance and favorable operation at elevated temperatures, helping to minimize power losses on hot days.
Another distinguishing feature of this series is the glass-glass construction, which increases resistance to moisture, microcracks, and accelerated aging, making the modules more suitable for demanding climates. The half-cut design also provides practical benefits, supporting higher efficiency under partial shading and reducing losses at connections.
AXIbiperfect GQ TS is a good choice for investors who want to combine durability, predictable performance, and modern technology in residential and commercial projects.

Axitec guarantees a minimum of 87.4% rated output power after 30 years, with an annual degradation rate of ~0.4%/year — well below the industry average of 0.7–0.8%/year. By comparison, most mainstream manufacturers offer 12–15-year product warranties and 25-year performance warranties (e.g., down to 84.8% after 25 years). A 30-year warranty covering both product and performance represents a genuine financial liability assumed by the manufacturer, not merely a marketing statement.
The bifacial construction enables absorption of light reflected from the ground surface. Axitec rates rear-side bifacial gain at up to 30%, which translates into measurably higher annual energy yield in ground-mount installations with high-albedo surfaces or on rooftops with lighter-colored membrane underlays — at no additional land or area cost.
N-type cells eliminate light-induced degradation (LID) characteristic of legacy P-type PERC technology. The temperature coefficient of comparable Axitec TOPCon modules is approximately -0.30%/°C, resulting in lower power losses on hot summer days — particularly significant from May through September, when module temperatures routinely exceed 50°C.
The use of 2.0 mm glass on both sides of the module instead of a rear backsheet significantly reduces moisture ingress, microcracks, and PID (Potential Induced Degradation). In the Polish climate, with its wide seasonal temperature swings, this translates into greater mechanical longevity and higher reliability after 15–20 years of operation.
The efficiency range of this series places it on par with direct competitors (MY Solar 22.95%, HT-SAAE and Weran Solar 23%) at a peak power of 620 Wp. For rooftop installations with constrained surface area, the higher power density means more kWp deployed within the same roof footprint.
Axitec does not appear on the Bloomberg NEF Tier-1 module manufacturer list (as of Q1 2026), which may complicate or preclude bank financing for commercial and utility-scale projects. Institutional investors and project finance lenders for PV plants commonly require Tier-1 modules as a condition for non-recourse debt.
Axitec is a relatively small company — significantly smaller than market leaders such as LONGi, Jinko, and Trina. In practice, this may result in longer lead times, reduced negotiating leverage on large-volume orders, and potentially more limited access to warranty service outside Western European markets.
- Efficiency of 22.9% matches the TOPCon 600-650W median
- Power density of 229.5 W/m² matches the TOPCon 600-650W median
- -0.31%/°C temperature coefficient - 0.02pp worse than TOPCon 600-650W median (-0.29%/°C), expect higher hot weather losses
- Bifacial design (80% factor) captures reflected light - adds 4-12% yield on ground-mount or white roof
- In the top 16% for efficiency among all TOPCon panels
