The Yingli PANDA 3.0 Pro 2 series are monocrystalline n-type solar modules based on TOPCon technology, designed for high energy yield not only under ideal conditions but also in low irradiance and demanding climates. The applied surface passivation and tunnel contact architecture minimize recombination losses, resulting in more stable performance over time and better efficiency at higher temperatures. This is an excellent choice for investors seeking to genuinely increase energy output from the same roof or ground area while simultaneously reducing the risk of power degradation over the years. Dual-sided variants support rear side yield, which is particularly relevant for light-colored roofs, rooftop installations, and carports. The series also stands out for its high reliability in installations exposed to environmental stress, making it suitable for both residential and commercial/industrial distributed PV systems.

About the PANDA 3.0 Pro 2 series

6 answered

These answers cover the whole series. Where a figure differs, the specification above is this module's own.

What is the maximum power output of the Yingli PANDA 3.0 Pro 2 panel?
The top models in the PANDA 3.0 Pro 2 series reach up to 645 Wp rated power. This is achieved through a 132-cell design based on large n-type monocrystalline cells with TOPCon technology, which deliver higher energy output from the same surface area than older PERC panels of similar size thanks to lower recombination losses.
How does the TOPCon technology in the PANDA 3.0 Pro 2 differ from standard PERC panels?
TOPCon uses an additional passivation layer and tunnel contact architecture that significantly reduces electron recombination losses. In practice, this means higher efficiency, a smaller power drop at high temperatures, and more stable energy production over time compared to conventional p-type PERC cells.
Is the bifacial version of the PANDA 3.0 Pro 2 worth it for a residential roof?
The bifacial variant performs best on light-colored, reflective roof surfaces, ground-mounted structures, and carports, where the rear side captures additional reflected light. On dark sloped roofs with low clearance, the extra rear-side yield will be smaller, but the panel still functions correctly as a high-power monofacial-equivalent module.
What warranty comes with the Yingli PANDA 3.0 Pro 2 panels?
The manufacturer provides a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power output warranty. Yingli is a Tier 1 manufacturer headquartered in China, which supports financial stability and a realistic service path for warranty claims over this long period.
Do PANDA 3.0 Pro 2 panels perform well in hot climates?
Yes, this is one of the key strengths of the TOPCon technology used in this series. Thanks to surface passivation, the panels lose less power as cell temperature rises compared to conventional PERC modules, which matters on poorly ventilated roofs or in regions with high summer temperatures where standard panels lose noticeable efficiency.
Is the Yingli PANDA 3.0 Pro 2 series better suited for residential or commercial use?
The series is versatile: the high single-module power output (up to 645 Wp) and good performance under low irradiance make it suitable for residential rooftop installations as well as larger commercial systems or solar farms, where maximizing energy yield from limited space and reliability under environmental stress are priorities.
