Middle of its segment, needs the roof space
Ultra V Plus is a series of bifacial dual-sided modules designed for investors who want to maximize energy yield from every square meter of roof or ground-mounted installation space. The panel uses monocrystalline half-cut cells arranged in a 6x26 layout, which reduces power losses from partial shading and improves reliability under demanding irradiance conditions. Thanks to multi-busbar technology and Suntech's proprietary current-sorting process, the module effectively eliminates electrical mismatch between cells, translating into a real increase in energy output from the system. The rear-side design allows for additional energy capture from light reflected off the ground, making the series particularly attractive for installations on bright surfaces, flat roofs, or ground-mount systems. The panels stand out with a low power temperature coefficient, losing less performance on hot days compared to competing solutions, along with strong output in low-light conditions such as mornings or overcast weather. The module has passed extended wind and snow load testing, confirming its durability in demanding climate conditions. The series is backed by a 30-year linear warranty and low annual power degradation, making it a solid choice for both residential installations and large-scale commercial solar farm projects.

Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale and shaded-installations.
Roofs where every square metre has to count, tight roof space and hot climates.
Bottom 1% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of 227.7. Ranked 8,265th in the whole database.
Bottom 1% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of 22.80%. Ranked 8,022nd in the whole database.
Bottom 1% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of -0.290. Ranked 8,846th in the whole database.
- Efficiency of 21.5% is 1.3pp below the TOPCon 600-650W median (22.8%)
- Power density of 214.7 W/m² is 13.0 W/m² below TOPCon 600-650W median (227.7 W/m²) - needs more roof space
- Temperature coefficient of -0.34%/°C is 0.05pp worse than TOPCon 600-650W median (-0.29%/°C) - higher losses in summer heat
- At 35.1 kg (2.3 kg above TOPCon 600-650W median of 32.8 kg), requires checking roof load capacity
- Bifaciality factor of 70% can add 4-10% extra yield with reflective mounting surface

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by Suntech in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 600 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
