Warranty pick, heavy for its output
The Vikram Solar PARADEA series consists of bifacial glass-glass modules with a multi busbar (MBB) architecture, designed to effectively increase energy yield even under less-than-ideal conditions. Due to its bifacial operation, the panel can utilize not only direct sunlight, but also reflected light from the ground, which is particularly beneficial for installations on reflective surfaces (e.g., gravel, sand, snow). In practice, this results in better production in the morning and evening, as well as higher daily yield, without the need for over-sizing the system.
The double-glass construction provides greater resistance to environmental factors, while the solutions in the connection box and the wiring configuration support more stable operation under partial shading. This makes it a good choice for investors who are looking for lower LCOE and BOS costs, as the higher power density facilitates the optimization of the structure and wiring. PARADEA is suitable for PV farms, commercial projects, and selected rooftop installations, where durability, yield, and predictability are key.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale and shaded-installations.
Weight-limited structures.
Top 25% of the PERC 550-600 W segment, against a median of 27 yrs.
Bottom 2% of the PERC 550-600 W segment, against a median of 52.7. Ranked 12,808th in the whole database.
- At 21.2% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 550-600W modules
- At 211.8 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for PERC 550-600W panels
- At -0.35%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for PERC 550-600W panels
- Weight of 36.5 kg is 5.7 kg above PERC 550-600W median (30.8 kg) - verify structural support
- Bifaciality factor of 70% can add 4-10% extra yield with reflective mounting surface

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by Vikram Solar in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 590 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
