Middle of its segment, short guarantee
The VDS Renewable VDS-S132/M12H-xxx series consists of modules based on 210mm monocrystalline cells in half-cut technology, designed for high power density and stable operation in demanding conditions. The use of multi-busbar technology improves current collection and light utilization, resulting in more predictable annual energy yields, even under less-than-ideal conditions and with non-ideal angles of incidence. The manufacturer also emphasizes minimizing microcracks through non-destructive cutting, which supports long-term reliability and reduces the risk of performance degradation over time. Another advantage is PID resistance, as well as solutions that increase durability in harsh environments (e.g., salt, ammonia, sand, high humidity). This is a good choice for commercial and industrial installations, as well as PV farms, where reducing BOS (Balance of System) costs, achieving a quick return on investment, and compatibility with popular system components are important.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale and shaded-installations.
Owners who want a long output guarantee, tight roof space and roofs where every square metre has to count.
Bottom 7% of the 560-760 W band, against a median of 30 yrs. Ranked 9,798th in the whole database.
Bottom 10% of the 560-760 W band, against a median of 22.54%. Ranked 9,076th in the whole database.
Bottom 11% of the 560-760 W band, against a median of 225.4.
- Efficiency of 21.2% is 0.6pp below the database median (21.8%)
- 212.5 W/m² power density is 5.6 W/m² below database median (218.1 W/m²) - requires larger installation area
- -0.34%/°C temperature coefficient - 0.04pp worse than database median (-0.30%/°C), expect higher hot weather losses
- At 33.9 kg, this panel is 7.4 kg heavier than the database median (26.5 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- In the top 65% for efficiency among all N-type panels
