Light for its output, modest efficiency
The Sunova TS-BWT66-G12 series consists of modules designed to maximize energy yield from the same surface area - particularly in situations where every square meter of roof or ground space is valuable. The use of a bifacial design allows for the utilization of reflected light from the ground, which significantly improves energy production in ground-mounted systems, on flat roofs, and on light-colored surfaces. A key advantage is the TOPCon N-type cell technology, which minimizes losses and helps maintain high efficiency even in challenging operating conditions.
In comparison to competitors, it stands out due to its stable performance at high temperatures and good efficiency even with reduced sunlight - which is important in the Polish climate, where cloudy days and variable conditions are the norm. The series is also designed for long-term profitability thanks to extended power warranties, which makes it easier to plan the return on investment.
It is a good choice for PV farms, large commercial rooftops, and investors who want to extract more energy without expanding the size of their installations.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Utility-scale, commercial, cold-climate and hot-climate.
Tight roof space and roofs where every square metre has to count.
Top 15% of the TOPCon 700-750 W segment, against a median of 52.9.
Bottom 5% of the TOPCon 700-750 W segment, against a median of 23.00%. Ranked 4,222nd in the whole database.
Bottom 7% of the TOPCon 700-750 W segment, against a median of 230.2. Ranked 3,989th in the whole database.
- At 22.5% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical TOPCon 700-750W modules
- Power density of 225.3 W/m² is 4.9 W/m² below TOPCon 700-750W median (230.2 W/m²) - needs more roof space
- At -0.29%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for TOPCon 700-750W panels
- At 33.9 kg, this panel is 4.1 kg lighter than TOPCon 700-750W median (38.0 kg) - easier handling during installation
- Bifaciality factor of 80% can add 4-12% extra yield with reflective mounting surface

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by Sunova in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 700 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
