Middle of its segment, weak in heat
The SunLink SL5N144D series is a premium, bifacial module designed to maximize energy yield from the same surface area, even when the roof or ground does not allow for expansion of the installation. The use of N-type cells in combination with modern half-cut architecture results in more stable performance in real-world conditions and better resistance to typical operating factors that can reduce panel performance over time. A key advantage of this series is the bifacial design, which can "collect" additional light reflected from the ground, allowing the installation to produce more energy without increasing the number of modules.
The SL5N144D also features double-glazed glass and encapsulation materials selected for long life and high reliability in varying weather conditions. This is a good choice for PV farms, commercial installations, and modern flat roofs, where high power density and long-term profitability are important.

Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale and shaded-installations.
Hot climates, weight-limited structures and tight roof space.
Bottom 19% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of -0.290.
Bottom 21% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of 53.1.
Bottom 23% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of 22.80%.
- At 22.4% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical TOPCon 600-650W modules
- Power density of 224.0 W/m² is 3.7 W/m² below TOPCon 600-650W median (227.7 W/m²) - needs more roof space
- Temperature coefficient of -0.30%/°C matches the TOPCon 600-650W median
- Ranked #4774 out of 14005 panels for efficiency in the database

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by SunLink in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 605 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
