Space saver, weak in heat
The SunKean SKT680~700M12-132D5 series are high-density power modules designed to maximize energy output from a limited surface area - particularly in PV farms and commercial projects where every square meter counts. The use of a bifacial design allows for the recovery of additional energy from reflected light, which significantly improves production in ground-mounted installations, on clear ground, or with appropriate racking configurations.
The double-glass construction is also noteworthy, as it increases resistance to moisture, mechanical stress, and material aging, stabilizing parameters over the long term. The modules utilize HJT technology, which is valued for its excellent performance at higher temperatures and low degradation, resulting in predictable energy yields. Another important feature is the POE sealing, which supports durability and reduces the risk of degradation in demanding conditions. This is a proposal for investors who expect high production, long-term durability, and a safe LCOE balance.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale, hot-climate and shaded-installations.
Hot climates.
Top 16% of the HJT 650-700 W segment, against a median of 222.1.
Top 17% of the HJT 650-700 W segment, against a median of 22.20%.
Bottom 24% of the HJT 650-700 W segment, against a median of -0.240.
- Efficiency of 22.4% matches the HJT 650-700W median
- At 223.7 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for HJT 650-700W panels
- -0.26%/°C temperature coefficient - 0.02pp worse than HJT 650-700W median (-0.24%/°C), expect higher hot weather losses
- Bifaciality factor of 77% can add 4-12% extra yield with reflective mounting surface
- In the top 34% for efficiency among all HJT panels

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by SunKean in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 695 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
