Middle of its segment, heavy for its output
The Solarspace SS9-66HD 670-690N series is designed to maximize energy production from a given surface area - these modules make it easier to design installations where every square meter of roof or ground counts. The use of N-TOPCon cells results in more stable performance over time and better utilization of solar radiation, even in less sunny conditions. This is particularly important in Poland, where weather can be unpredictable, and investors expect predictable returns.
The bifacial dual-glass construction helps to increase production by working with both sides, while also enhancing the module's resistance to environmental factors. Another advantage is the low degradation typical of N-type technology, as well as the favorable temperature coefficient, which limits power losses in hot weather.
This series is ideal for PV farms, large commercial rooftops, and anywhere where the goal is to maximize production and ensure long-term investment profitability.

Signals from the data
Utility-scale, commercial, hot-climate and shaded-installations.
Weight-limited structures.
Bottom 22% of the N-type 650-700 W segment, against a median of 50.9.
- Efficiency of 22.2% is 1.1pp below the N-type 650-700W median (23.3%)
- At 222.1 W/m², this panel generates 11.1 W/m² less per unit area than N-type 650-700W median (233.2 W/m²)
- At -0.29%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for N-type 650-700W panels
- At 37.5 kg, this panel is 4.0 kg heavier than the N-type 650-700W median (33.5 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- Bifaciality factor of 80% can add 4-12% extra yield with reflective mounting surface

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by Solarspace in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 690 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
