Middle of its segment, heavy for its output
The Huayao Hyper N66 series was designed for maximum energy yield where every square meter of roof or ground matters. The application of cutting-edge N-type cells and refined interconnect architecture translates to more stable performance over time - reduced losses in the initial years and better predictability of yields over the long term. These modules are also an excellent choice for installations operating under real-world Polish conditions: frequent changes in sunlight, periodic shading, and lower temperatures, where good performance under low-light conditions is crucial.
The Hyper N66 stands out with its high manufacturing and packaging quality, helping to minimize the risk of micro-cracks and power drops after installation and during transport. This solution is for investors seeking reliable performance - from residential installations to commercial systems on roof-mounted racks, warehouse canopies, and PV farms. Compared to many PERC panels, the series offers a more future-oriented N-type technology and better resistance to typical degradation mechanisms.

Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale and residential.
Weight-limited structures, roofs where every square metre has to count and tight roof space.
Bottom 5% of the TOPCon 700-750 W segment, against a median of 52.9. Ranked 9,103rd in the whole database.
Bottom 7% of the TOPCon 700-750 W segment, against a median of 230.2. Ranked 3,989th in the whole database.

N-type TOPCon cells show first-year degradation ≤1% and annual degradation ≤0.4%, versus ≤0.45–0.55% typical for PERC modules. After 30 years the manufacturer guarantees retention above 87% of rated power — for a 715 W module that equates to a real output above 623 W at end of warranty period.
The top-of-range module efficiency of 23.14% exceeds direct peer comparables: DAS Solar DAS-DH132NC (23.00%) and New East Solar NESE 66THB-G12 (23.02%). The lower-bound efficiency of 22.21% (605 W variants) remains well above the 21.5% threshold commonly used to classify semi-commercial 66-cell format modules.
The bifacial construction with a typical bifacial factor of 70–80% enables 10–20% additional energy yield on reflective surfaces (gravel, concrete, snow) and in façade-mounted systems. In Polish climate conditions, where snow cover is significant in winter months, this rear-side gain is measurable even at lower irradiance angles.
The 30-year linear power warranty extends beyond the Tier-1 standard (JA Solar, Trina Solar typically offer 25 years down to ~84.8% of Pnom). A longer warranty horizon reduces financial risk in installations with long payback periods, which is particularly relevant for commercial projects evaluated on LCOE.
A broad lineup of 11 variants from 605 to 715 W (in ~10 W steps) allows precise MPPT string sizing and optimal fit to roof or ground geometries, minimizing mismatch loss. This flexibility is especially valuable in prosumer installations with non-standard available surface areas.
Huayao does not appear on the BNEF Tier-1 module manufacturer list (Q1 2026). In practice this creates barriers to bank financing for installations >200 kWp, higher collateral requirements in PPA agreements, and exclusion from qualified supplier lists used by many infrastructure funds. Direct peer comparable DAS Solar holds Tier-1 BNEF status, which is a concrete advantage in externally financed projects.
The lowest-power variants in the series carry only a 12-year product warranty, while the European market standard for TOPCon modules is 15 years (applied by JinkoSolar Tiger Neo, LONGi Hi-MO 6, among others). For installations planned over a 25–30-year lifespan, a shorter product warranty period increases the risk of bearing replacement costs outside the manufacturer's coverage window.
- Efficiency of 22.5% matches the TOPCon 700-750W median
- At 225.3 W/m², this panel generates 4.9 W/m² less per unit area than TOPCon 700-750W median (230.2 W/m²)
- At -0.30%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for TOPCon 700-750W panels
- Ranked #3982 out of 14005 panels for efficiency in the database
