Strong in heat, needs the roof space
The Horay Solar HS 210-120 TC-D Galaxy panel series sets new efficiency standards through the use of modern N-Type TOPCon cells. This solution effectively eliminates the problem of light-induced degradation, resulting in a significantly longer lifespan and yield stability compared to traditional modules. The bifacial double-glass design allows for the efficient use of light reflected from the ground, which is key to optimizing energy costs in large commercial projects and solar farms. The use of innovative 210 mm large-scale cells in combination with SMBB multi-busbar technology drastically reduces power transmission losses within the module. This series solves the problem of efficiency loss at high temperatures, offering an exceptionally favorable temperature coefficient of power. Investors primarily benefit from a high bifaciality factor, which allows for additional energy generation from the rear surface of the panel, providing a real competitive advantage in Polish climate conditions when using a light-colored surface. This equipment is designed to maximize the profitability of ground-mounted installations, providing high mechanical resistance to snow and wind loads, which guarantees investment security for many years.

N-type cell architecture eliminates both Light-Induced Degradation (LID) and Light and Elevated Temperature Induced Degradation (LeTID), which are chronic issues in p-type PERC technology. Annual degradation sits at 0.4–0.5% vs. 0.6–0.8% for PERC, resulting in measurably higher cumulative energy yield over the 30-year asset life.
The double-glass bifacial design captures reflected irradiance on the rear surface with a bifaciality factor of ~85%, versus ~70% for bifacial PERC. On ground-mount installations with albedo ≥0.20 — typical of Polish utility-scale sites — this translates into an additional 8–15% annual energy yield compared to monofacial equivalents.
Horay Solar guarantees a minimum of 87.4% of rated power after 30 years, as published in the Galaxy series datasheet. For utility-scale PV assets with standard 25–30-year financing tenors, this single power warranty covers the full debt-service period without re-certification risk.
Horay Solar has held BNEF Tier-1 PV Module Manufacturer status continuously since Q1 2025, confirmed on the Q1 2026 list. Tier-1 designation is a prerequisite for project finance approval from most European and Polish lending institutions, enabling debt financing without supplementary manufacturer-risk collateral.
Large-format 210 mm cells combined with Super Multi Busbar (SMBB) technology shorten internal current paths, reducing resistive losses and improving fill factor. This configuration also delivers improved partial-shading tolerance compared to 182 mm modules built on conventional busbar layouts.
The Galaxy series peaks at 22.4% module efficiency, while direct competitors in the same 615–635 Wp power class outperform it: Talesun TM7G78M at 22.72%, LONGi Hi-MO X10 LR7-72HVD at 23.5%, and Sunpro TOPCon 210R at 23.51%. The gap to segment leaders exceeds 1 percentage point, translating to lower LCOE on area-constrained sites or higher BoS cost per MW for ground-mount projects.
The Galaxy series carries a 15-year module product warranty, compared to the 25-year standard offered by Tier-1 peers such as LONGi on their dual-glass Hi-MO X10 line. For ground-mount assets financed over 20–25-year tenors, this shortfall may trigger additional technical due-diligence requirements from project lenders and insurance underwriters.
- Module efficiency of 21.9% is 0.9pp below average for N-type 600-650W panels (median: 22.8%)
- 218.9 W/m² power density is 8.8 W/m² below N-type 600-650W median (227.7 W/m²) - requires larger installation area
- At -0.28%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for N-type 600-650W panels
- Weight of 35.0 kg is 2.5 kg above N-type 600-650W median (32.5 kg) - verify structural support
- Bifaciality factor of 80% can add 4-12% extra yield with reflective mounting surface
