Light for its output, weak in heat
The Gamko New Energy GKA210N120 (660W-680W) series consists of modules based on N-type cells in TOPCon technology, designed for high efficiency and stable operation in demanding conditions. The use of half-cut cells helps to minimize internal losses and improve performance under partial shading - which is important on roofs with chimneys, skylights, or on ground-mounted installations with irregular sunlight exposure.
Another advantage is good performance in low light - in practice, this means more predictable energy production in the morning, evening, and on cloudy days, which makes self-consumption easier. Furthermore, the module's design, including a robust connection box with high protection class, promotes durability in humid and dusty environments.
This series is particularly recommended for large industrial roofs, PV farms, and investors who want to maximize energy yield from limited space without compromising reliability.

The module achieves 24.03% efficiency, clearly outperforming the Vikram Solar PARADEA (21.89%) and placing it near the AIKO Neostar 1U+ (24.3%) in the same power class. For rooftop installations with limited surface area, this translates into measurably more kWh per m².
TOPCon N-type technology eliminates the Light-Induced Degradation (LID) effect characteristic of older P-type/PERC cells and delivers a superior power temperature coefficient. In practice, this means higher energy yields during summer months and a more stable production curve over the full system lifetime.
The bifacial construction enables additional energy harvest from reflected irradiance (albedo gain), which is especially valuable on high-reflectivity surfaces such as gravel, concrete, or snow. The half-cut cell architecture reduces internal resistive losses and improves tolerance to partial shading compared to full-size cell modules.
The manufacturer provides a 30-year linear power output warranty, matching the standard offered by leading Tier-1 manufacturers such as JA Solar and LONGi. This warranty covers the entire projected economic lifetime of a PV system, eliminating the need for module replacement before the investment is paid off.
The series carries full IEC 61215 (mechanical and electrical performance) and IEC 61730 (safety) certifications, as well as ISO 9001/14001. The modules meet all formal requirements necessary for subsidy eligibility and grid connection in Poland and across the EU.
The AIKO Comet 3N72 (680W) achieves 25.2% efficiency versus 24.03% for the Gamko — a difference of 1.17 percentage points. On a 10 kWp system, this translates to approximately 0.5–0.7 m² of additional roof area required to deliver the same rated power output. For projects with critically constrained space, AIKO may be the better choice.
Leading Tier-1 manufacturers (LONGi, JA Solar, Trina Solar) routinely offer 15–25 year product warranties. The Gamko GKA210N120 provides only a 12-year product warranty, meaning that any manufacturing defects emerging after year 12 leave the investor without manufacturer coverage.
Gamko New Energy (approximately 1.2 GW of production capacity as of 2023, ~205 employees) does not appear in BNEF Tier-1 or Bloomberg NEF rankings, unlike AIKO or Vikram Solar. For projects requiring project finance or long-term PPAs, a smaller manufacturer may not satisfy the bankability and due diligence requirements of lending institutions.
- Efficiency of 24.0% is 1.6pp above the TOPCon 650-700W median (22.4%)
- 240.3 W/m² power density - 16.6 W/m² more than TOPCon 650-700W median (223.7 W/m²), more power per roof area
- Temperature coefficient of -0.34%/°C is 0.05pp worse than TOPCon 650-700W median (-0.29%/°C) - higher losses in summer heat
- At 28.0 kg, this panel is 6.6 kg lighter than TOPCon 650-700W median (34.6 kg) - easier handling during installation
- In the top 2% for efficiency among all TOPCon panels
