Light for its output, no clear weak spot
The Gamko New Energy GKA210M120 (590W-610W) series consists of modules based on monocrystalline PERC cells in half-cut configurations, designed for high energy yield with limited mounting area. The use of large-format cells and a half-cut structure helps minimize energy losses due to current flow, resulting in more stable operation of the system in real-world conditions. In addition, the series offers excellent high-temperature resistance and a robust, industrial design with tempered glass and a sealed junction box, which is important in the Polish climate.
This is a good choice for investors who want to maximize power on rooftops or on the ground - from single-family homes to commercial and agricultural projects. The series stands out for its high power density, PERC technology in a half-cut format, and long-term linear energy yield warranty, which makes it easier to plan profitability and reduces operational risks.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial, utility-scale and shaded-installations.
Top 1% of the PERC 600-650 W segment, against a median of 55.7. Ranked 1,095th in the whole database.
The module employs bifacial technology (dual-sided PERC cells), which under favorable albedo conditions (light-colored ground, white gravel, snow) delivers additional yield in the range of 5–15% compared to a monofacial equivalent. This is a significant advantage for ground-mounted installations and agrivoltaic applications.
The top variant in the series achieves 21.55% module efficiency — identical to the Seraphim Seco 595–610W and Techwise Summit Series, and only marginally below the GCL GCL-M12/60GDF (21.6%). The series therefore ranks among the top competitors in the comparable 600W PERC module category available on the market.
The manufacturer provides a 30-year linear power output warranty, which exceeds the 25-year standard offered by a portion of mid-tier competitors and facilitates LCOE modeling for projects with long investment horizons.
The configuration of 120 half-cut cells in the 210mm format (M10+) shortens the current path, reducing resistive losses and lowering susceptibility to partial shading compared to conventional 60/72-cell layouts. The large cell format enables 610 Wp output within a compact module footprint.
The series holds certification for compliance with IEC 61215 (mechanical and electrical performance) and IEC 61730 (safety), which is a prerequisite for most public tenders and subsidy programs in Poland and across the EU.
By 2025/2026, TOPCon (N-type) technology has become the new market standard — offering a lower LID degradation rate, a better temperature coefficient of power (~−0.30%/°C vs. ~−0.35%/°C for PERC), and meaningfully higher annual energy yield. While Gamko offers TOPCon in its own GKA210N132 series, the GKA210M120 remains based on PERC technology, which is gradually losing its cost-to-performance edge.
Gamko New Energy (approximately 1.2 GW of annual production capacity as of 2023) does not appear on the BNEF Tier 1 lists for Q1 2025 or Q1 2026, which are dominated by JA Solar, Trina Solar, LONGi, and Canadian Solar (each exceeding 80 GW/year). The absence of Tier-1 status may complicate access to project finance for larger commercial and utility-scale projects.
Leading Tier-1 manufacturers (Trina Solar, JA Solar, LONGi, Canadian Solar) standardly offer a 15-year product warranty against manufacturing defects. Gamko provides only 12 years — a 3-year gap that shifts earlier servicing cost risk to the investor.
- At 21.4% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 600-650W modules
- At 213.8 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for PERC 600-650W panels
- At -0.34%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for PERC 600-650W panels
- At 28.0 kg, this panel is 6.0 kg lighter than PERC 600-650W median (34.0 kg) - easier handling during installation
- In the top 60% for efficiency among all PERC panels
