Light for its output, short guarantee
The AURORA SERIES PV modules are designed for maximizing yield in spaces where every square meter counts and ensuring stable performance in challenging conditions. The application of N-type TOPCon cells and a half-cell design helps minimize losses and maintain high efficiency even under partial shading, common in roof installations featuring chimneys, parapets, or industrial canopies with numerous lights. In practice, this translates to a more predictable annual energy production and better performance during periods of reduced sunlight.
A key feature of the series is the SMBB, or multi-busbar contact architecture, which supports uniform current flow and enhances module performance under varying temperatures. For investors, the bifacial dual glass construction is also noteworthy, prioritizing durability, environmental resistance, and long-term parameter stability.
The AURORA SERIES is ideal for premium residential installations, commercial rooftops, and ground-mounted projects where a long lifespan, reliability, and high yield without compromise are essential.

Top 10% of the PERC 650-700 W segment, against a median of 52.3. Ranked 3,003rd in the whole database.
Bottom 21% of the PERC 650-700 W segment, against a median of 30 yrs.
EGing PV maintains its BNEF Tier 1 status (confirmed Q2 2024), operating continuously since 2003 with an annual manufacturing capacity exceeding 25 GW. For investors, this reflects the manufacturer's demonstrated ability to honor warranties and facilitates access to project financing without additional credit enhancements.
In the independent 2024 SolarChoice/PV Lab report, the series earned Top Performer recognition in six categories: thermal cycling, damp heat, mechanical stress sequence, hail stress sequence, LID+LETID, and PAN performance. This represents one of the broadest sets of validated certifications for a single series in this market segment.
Modules are certified for a 5,400 Pa snow load and 2,400 Pa wind pressure — ratings that significantly exceed the IEC minimum of 2,400/2,400 Pa. This enables installation in high-snowfall climate zones without additional reinforcement structures.
The dual glass variant guarantees no more than 2% degradation in year one and ≤0.45%/year thereafter, yielding ≥84.95% of rated power output after 30 years. Peer comparables — Hiwatt Solar HW-M12/132H and ZNShine ZXM8-TP132 — offer similar peak efficiency, but long-term warranty data are not publicly available for those products.
Super multi-busbar (SMBB) interconnection reduces series resistance and improves tolerance to microcracks, while the glass-glass (dual glass) construction eliminates PID risk and provides IP68-rated moisture resistance — critical advantages for ground-mounted systems and agrivoltaic applications.
According to manufacturer data, the Aurora Series has been given discontinued status. This means limited availability of new modules on the secondary market, difficulty sourcing identical panels for replacements or system expansions after 5–10 years, and potential shortages of serviceable components.
In 2024–2025, the premium segment has shifted decisively toward N-type TOPCon cells, which offer a superior temperature coefficient (approx. −0.28%/°C vs. −0.34–0.36%/°C for PERC) and lower LID. At typical summer operating temperatures (60–70°C), this translates to approximately 3–5% lower hourly energy yield compared to N-type modules in the same power class (670 Wp).
- At 21.4% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 650-700W modules
- At 214.1 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for PERC 650-700W panels
- Temperature coefficient of -0.34%/°C matches the PERC 650-700W median
- At 32.9 kg, this panel is 1.6 kg lighter than PERC 650-700W median (34.5 kg) - easier handling during installation
- #8323 for efficiency, #8778 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
