Space saver, no clear weak spot
The DMEGC DMxXXM10T-B72HSW series are modules designed for maximum yield from the same surface area, especially where fast returns and stable performance over years are crucial. The use of n-type TOPCon cells minimizes typical losses found in older technologies and maintains high efficiency even under weaker sunlight. The bifacial glass-glass construction supports an additional gain from reflected radiation, which genuinely helps on light-colored roofs, aggregate ground, or on installations on east-west facades. Thanks to the 144 half-cut format, the modules handle partial shading better and offer more stable performance under uneven row illumination. In practice, this series solves the problem of limited surface area and increases investment profitability without complicating the design. This is an excellent choice for utility-scale PV farms, large commercial & industrial (C&I) rooftops, and installations requiring weather resistance and long-term reliability - where competitive monofacial panels fail to utilize the surrounding potential.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale and shaded-installations.
Top 21% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of 227.7.
Top 23% of the TOPCon 600-650 W segment, against a median of 22.80%.
The 22.5–23.2% efficiency range places this series on par with the Tongwei TWMND (23.2%) and Lexron 144HC TOPCon (23.23%), and significantly above the Talesun BISTAR TP7F78M (21.5%). The ~1.7 percentage-point advantage over Talesun translates into measurably higher energy yield from the same roof or ground area.
The Pmax temperature coefficient of -0.31%/°C compares favorably to the typical -0.35–0.37%/°C of PERC technology. Under Polish summer conditions—with module temperatures reaching ~65°C—this results in approximately 1–1.5% lower power losses than comparable PERC modules.
The manufacturer guarantees ≤1% first-year degradation (LID) and ≤0.4%/year over the subsequent 29 years, retaining ≥87.4% of rated power after 30 years. Kiwa PVEL has confirmed the series' resilience across thermal cycling, PID, and LID+LETID test sequences in its 2025 Reliability Scorecard.
DMEGC has maintained BNEF Tier 1 status for six consecutive years (confirmed Q3 2025) and is listed by both S&P and SMM. The Kiwa PVEL Top Performer 2025 designation—awarded following independent stress testing—effectively eliminates the bankability risk associated with smaller manufacturers.
The glass-glass construction with bifacial cells enables up to 25% additional energy harvest from reflected irradiance on high-albedo surfaces such as gravel, white roofing membranes, or snow. Compared to monofacial equivalents, real-world annual energy yield is 5–15% higher depending on the installation configuration.
At 15 years, the product warranty falls short of premium competitors offering 25-year coverage—such as the Jinko Tiger Neo and LONGi Hi-MO 6. In the utility-scale PV and C&I segments, where financing agreements and insurance policies frequently require a 20–25-year product warranty, this limitation may complicate project bankability.
- At 23.2% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical TOPCon 600-650W modules
- 232.3 W/m² power density - 4.6 W/m² more than TOPCon 600-650W median (227.7 W/m²), more power per roof area
- Temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C matches the TOPCon 600-650W median
- Bifacial design (80% factor) captures reflected light - adds 4-12% yield on ground-mount or white roof
- #1306 for efficiency, #2165 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
