Middle of its segment, modest efficiency
Adani Solar ETERNAL PRIDE series panels bring a new quality to large-scale projects, utilizing bifacial technology, which allows for additional energy yield from the rear side of the module by using reflected light. Thanks to the use of Mono-PERC cells in MBB architecture, this design effectively minimizes internal losses and optimizes current flow, which is crucial during operation in high temperatures and low sunlight conditions. This series solves the problem of long-term power loss through high resistance to PID degradation and the LID phenomenon, ensuring stable energy yields for decades. Exceptional resistance to extreme snow and wind loads makes these components dedicated primarily to demanding photovoltaic farms and large industrial installations, where maximizing profitability from every square meter of area matters. What distinguishes ETERNAL PRIDE from standard competitive solutions is exceptional mechanical stability combined with rigorous cell quality control, guaranteeing reliability in harsh environmental conditions. By choosing this series, investors receive a product optimized for the lowest levelized cost of energy (LCOE), which effectively combines innovative design with a real increase in the efficiency of ground-mounted and flat-roof systems. An excellent temperature coefficient ensures that these modules maintain efficiency where other panels lose their performance.

Utility-scale, commercial and hot-climate.
Tight roof space and roofs where every square metre has to count.
Bottom 2% of the PERC 600-650 W segment, against a median of 21.38%. Ranked 11,208th in the whole database.

The Pmax value of -0.34%/°C places the series above the average for PERC technology (-typically -0.37 to -0.40%/°C), resulting in a higher actual yield during hot summer months and in tropical climates – which is significant for large ground-mounted installations.
The manufacturer offers a 30-year linear performance warranty, which is the standard for premium-segment photovoltaic panels and exceeds the typical 25-year warranty offered by many Tier-1 players such as JA Solar and Trina Solar, for comparable production years.
The use of Multi-Busbar (MBB) technology in combination with half-cut cells reduces internal resistance and minimizes the impact of partial shading on the overall power output of the module – a key advantage in ground-mounted solar farms with complex environments.
Adani Solar is listed on Bloomberg NEF's Tier-1 list, which confirms the financial viability of the manufacturer – a key requirement when securing financing from independent commercial banks and a standard clause in most Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for installations exceeding 10 MW.
ETERNAL PRIDE has been discontinued (production stopped, initial release in 2021). This means limited availability of replacement parts, no service support for new orders, and potential difficulties in expanding the system in the future.
The efficiency of these modules is only 20.23–20.87%, while direct competitors in the same power range (630–650 W) achieve: BYD Auro N — 23.25%, Astronergy ASTRO N5 — 23.30%, Jinko Tiger Neo — 24.06%. This means that approximately 15% more modules are needed to achieve the same power output, which increases construction and ground costs.
In 2024, TOPCon technology surpassed PERC technology in terms of global production capacity, achieving approximately 66% of the total production capacity. All three comparable competitors (BYD, Astronergy, and Jinko) operate using N-type TOPCon cells, which are characterized by lower LID degradation and better bifaciality (80–85% vs 70% for PERC). The ETERNAL PRIDE series is based on the older P-type PERC platform.
The version in question is a monofacial module (is_bifacial: false), while all three comparable competing series offer a bifacial option at the same peak power. In ground-mounted installations with a clear substrate (sand, gravel, light concrete), bifaciality can generate an additional 5–15% of energy yield.
- Module efficiency of 20.6% is 0.8pp below average for PERC 600-650W panels (median: 21.4%)
- At 205.5 W/m², this panel generates 8.3 W/m² less per unit area than PERC 600-650W median (213.8 W/m²)
- At -0.34%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for PERC 600-650W panels
- #11208 for efficiency, #8778 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
