Middle of its segment, weak in heat
The RS9H-M series from Resun Solar is a commercial and industrial module built on 132 half-cut cells of the large-format 210 mm mono-crystalline type, connected in a multi-busbar 10/12BB configuration. This approach reduces internal power loss and lowers the risk of failure caused by microcracks or broken busbars, translating into more stable performance throughout the system's service life. Splitting the cells in half further increases resistance to the hot-spot effect caused by partial shading, which matters in PV farms and on industrial rooftops where shading from chimneys or antennas is common. The panel also stands out for its high PID resistance, limiting power degradation over time and contributing to a lower levelized cost of energy (LCOE). The 3.2 mm tempered front glass with anti-reflective coating improves energy yield under low-light conditions, while the certified, robust frame construction withstands high wind and snow loads. The module is additionally resistant to salt mist and ammonia, making it a solid choice for coastal and agricultural installations. The RS9H-M series is well suited wherever reliability, high conversion efficiency, and long-term investment return are priorities.

Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale and shaded-installations.
Hot climates, roofs where every square metre has to count and tight roof space.
Bottom 5% of the 560-760 W band, against a median of -0.290. Ranked 10,419th in the whole database.
Bottom 11% of the 560-760 W band, against a median of 225.4.
Bottom 11% of the 560-760 W band, against a median of 22.54%.
- Efficiency of 21.2% is 0.6pp below the database median (21.8%)
- Power density of 212.5 W/m² is 5.6 W/m² below database median (218.1 W/m²) - needs more roof space
- At -0.35%/°C, loses 0.05pp more power per degree than database median (-0.30%/°C)
- Weight of 33.6 kg is 7.1 kg above database median (26.5 kg) - verify structural support
- In the top 64% for efficiency among all N-type panels
