The Jolywood JW Pro series comprises bifacial modules in n-type TOPCon technology, designed to maximize energy yield under real operating conditions. Thanks to the active rear side, they better utilize reflected light from the ground surface - translating to additional power generation where other panels "finish" their work: on light roofs, membranes, gravel, or in snowy surroundings.

A key feature of this series is the glass-glass construction, which improves resistance to environmental factors and operational stability for years. From an investor's perspective, the following features are also important: low power degradation and resilience to phenomena typical of operation in challenging conditions, such as PID, high salinity, or ammonia. JW Pro also prioritizes solutions minimizing the risk of microcracks, contributing to maintaining parameters over a long-term horizon.

This is an excellent choice for C&I installations, PV farms, and projects where a low LCOE matters - especially where you can strategically leverage reflections to increase yield without expanding the surface area.

What owners get
Efficiency 22.7–23.6%: clear peer advantage

JW Pro modules achieve up to 23.6% efficiency, outperforming direct peers — GCL-M12/60GDF (21.6%), Techwise Summit (21.55%), and Seraphim Seco (21.55%) — by approximately 2 percentage points, a ~9% relative advantage that translates into higher energy yield per unit of roof or field area.

Low temp. coefficient Pmax: −0.28%/°C

N-type TOPCon cells deliver a Pmax temperature coefficient of −0.28%/°C versus −0.35% to −0.40%/°C for typical PERC modules, resulting in meaningfully higher real-world output on hot days. Annual power degradation of 0.40% (1.0% in year one) keeps LID and LETID losses to a minimum.

Bifacial glass-glass with 5–25% rear-side gain

The active rear surface contributes an additional 5–25% yield from reflected irradiance at albedo >25% (white TPO membranes, gravel, snow-covered ground). The dual-glass (DG) build eliminates backsheet degradation and raises mechanical load resistance, supporting a real service life well beyond 30 years.

30-year linear power warranty & BNEF Tier-1 status

Jolywood guarantees ≥87.4% of rated power after 30 years — exceeding the 25-year standard prevalent in this segment (e.g., 84.8% at 25 years for many competitors). The manufacturer has operated since 2008 as a global pioneer of industrial N-type TOPCon cell production and holds confirmed bankable-manufacturer status per the BNEF Tier-1 list (Q2 2026).

Trade-offs
Smaller production scale vs. market leaders

Jolywood's ~10 GW/year manufacturing capacity trails segment leaders — JinkoSolar, LONGi, and Trina Solar each exceed 80 GW/year — which may result in longer lead times or limited supply flexibility for utility-scale projects above ~50 MWp during peak demand periods.

Common questions

6 answered
What warranty does the Jolywood JW Pro Series come with?
The Jolywood JW Pro Series includes a 12-year product warranty covering manufacturing defects and materials, plus a 30-year linear power warranty. Degradation is capped at 1% in year one and 0.4% per year afterward — guaranteeing at least 87.4% of rated output at year 30. This is among the best degradation profiles currently available in bifacial TOPCon modules.
What is n-type TOPCon technology and why is it better than PERC?
TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) is a next-generation cell architecture built on an n-type silicon substrate. Compared to standard p-type PERC cells, it delivers higher efficiency (above 23%), a lower temperature coefficient (-0.30%/°C), and significantly better resistance to LID (Light-Induced Degradation). In practical terms, this means more kilowatt-hours per year, smaller output losses on hot days, and a more stable power curve over 30 years of operation.
Do the Jolywood JW Pro bifacial panels actually generate more energy — and when does it make a real difference?
Yes, but the gain depends on what is underneath the array. Bifacial yield is highest on high-albedo surfaces such as white TPO membranes, light-colored gravel, or snow — where reflected irradiance can be 20–40% of direct irradiance. In C&I rooftop and ground-mount PV projects with adequate module elevation, JW Pro bifacial panels can deliver 5–15% more energy than an equivalent monofacial module. On dark roofing the rear-side gain is negligible.
What is the maximum power output of a Jolywood JW Pro panel and what formats are available?
The top model in the JW Pro Series reaches 610 Wp. The lineup consists of 144-cell glass-glass modules starting around 570 Wp, designed for commercial rooftop and utility-scale PV projects. A maximum system voltage of 1500 V DC supports longer string configurations, which reduces BoS costs and simplifies the electrical design.
Are Jolywood JW Pro panels suitable for harsh environments — coastal sites, agricultural facilities, or chemical exposure?
Yes. The glass-glass construction and certified resistance to PID, salt mist, and ammonia make JW Pro modules well-suited to chemically aggressive environments. Ammonia resistance is especially relevant for agricultural installations and livestock facilities, where outgassing can accelerate degradation in conventional backsheet modules. The frameless glass rear also eliminates the delamination risk associated with polymer backsheets.
Are Jolywood JW Pro modules compatible with standard inverters, and do they require a special racking system?
JW Pro modules are rated for 1500 V DC systems and are compatible with most string and central inverters supporting the 1500 V standard, such as Huawei SUN2000, SMA Sunny Tripower, and Fronius Eco series. Because of the glass-glass build, these panels are slightly heavier than backsheet equivalents — factor that into racking selection and verify the allowable load for the roof structure or ground-mount foundation.
