The Hanersun Hitouch 5 (HN18-72H) series is designed for installations where high energy production is a priority, while maintaining practical compatibility with popular mounting systems and logistics. The modules utilize MONO PERC cells in combination with a half-cut design and MBB technology, which helps to minimize losses and improve performance under partial shading. A key feature is the high-density encapsulation with minimal spacing between cells - this results in better use of the active surface area and more stable operation in real-world conditions.
The HN18-72H variant is suitable for both residential installations on pitched and flat roofs, as well as larger commercial projects where repeatability of parameters and reliability are important. An additional advantage is the reduced risk of hot spots and solutions that increase yield from the same surface area, which makes project optimization easier without the need to "over-engineer" the installation.

The module is certified for snow loads of 5,400 Pa and wind loads of 2,400 Pa, allowing deployment in demanding climatic conditions without requiring additional reinforcement of the mounting structure.
The standard 182 mm cell format ensures full compatibility with the majority of widely used racking systems and inverters available on the European market, simplifying logistics and module replacement.
Production of the Hitouch 5 series (HN18-72H) ended in 2023. New modules are available only from existing warehouse stock; over the 25-year power warranty horizon, this increases the risk of inadequate service support and the inability to source identical modules when expanding an installation.
Two of the three direct peers — the DAH Solar DHM-T72X10/BF/FS and the Premier Energies 144 HC PERC Bifacial — offer a bifacial variant with a potential additional yield of 5–25% depending on ground albedo. On installations with high-albedo surfaces (gravel, concrete, snow), this series surrenders a measurable productivity advantage.
Hanersun launched the Hitouch 5N series (TOPCon) as early as 2022, with a maximum efficiency of 23.2% and a lower LID degradation rate. At a comparable price point, selecting new TOPCon modules is technically justified by higher annual energy yield and longer cell lifetime.
