Middle of its segment, weak in heat
The Gamko New Energy GKA210M132 panel series is based on advanced 210 mm cells, which translates into powerful unit power and high module efficiency in all conditions. Thanks to the use of multi-busbar technology and half-cut cells, these panels handle shading much more effectively and minimize energy losses resulting from internal resistance. This is a solution dedicated primarily to investors looking to maximize yields from limited roof or ground space. The use of large-format G12 silicon wafers allows for a significant reduction in BOS system costs, making this series exceptionally cost-effective for large commercial projects and solar farms. The solid frame construction and tempered glass guarantee high resistance to extreme snow and wind loads, distinguishing the GKA210M132 from standard solutions with lower mechanical strength. The innovative low temperature coefficient ensures that the panels maintain high efficiency even on hot days, which is crucial for the Polish climate with increasingly warm summers. By choosing this series, investors gain the assurance of stable system operation for decades, which directly translates into a faster return on investment while maintaining the highest standards of electrical safety and component durability.

The bifacial design enables energy harvest from the rear side of the module (typical bifacial gain of 5-15% in ground-mounted systems with high-albedo surfaces). The G12 format (210 mm) reduces BoS costs - fewer modules, connectors, and cables are required for the same nameplate power, meaningfully lowering the total installed cost of utility-scale PV projects.
The top-tier variant GKA210M132-675W achieves 21.73% efficiency, on par with the BYD AURO MSTK-33 (21.73%) and Neo Solar Power NESE-675 (21.73%), and marginally above the Trina Vertex TSM-DE21 (21.70%). This places the series at the very top of the large-format PERC module segment.
The manufacturer provides a 30-year linear power warranty - five years longer than the Trina Solar Vertex TSM-DE21, which guarantees only 84.8% of rated power after 25 years. The extended warranty horizon directly reduces investment risk when calculating LCOE for commercial-scale projects.
The module is certified for a snow load of 5,400 Pa and a wind load of 2,400 Pa (per IEC 61215 / IEC 61730). The 5,400 Pa snow load rating exceeds the 2,400-4,000 Pa typically offered by most second-tier manufacturers, making this series particularly well-suited for installations in heavy-snowfall regions such as Poland and the Alpine countries.
Half-cut cells reduce resistive losses and mitigate the impact of partial shading - with 50% of the module surface shaded, output is maintained at approximately 50% of rated power, compared to near-zero output in a full-cell architecture under the same conditions. Multi-busbar design shortens the current path and lowers internal losses, increasing annual energy yield.
By 2025, TOPCon had become the new market standard, accounting for more than 70% of global production capacity. PERC cells exhibit higher first-year light-induced degradation (LID) (~2% vs. ~1% for TOPCon) and a slightly higher annual degradation rate (~0.45% vs. ~0.40%), resulting in measurably lower cumulative energy yield over a 30-year project lifetime. Notably, Gamko itself already offers a newer N-type TOPCon series, the GKA210N132 (700-750 W), signaling that the GKA210M132 represents a previous technology generation.
Gamko New Energy does not appear on the BloombergNEF Tier 1 bankability list for Q1 2026. The absence of this status may complicate project financing with independent commercial lenders for installations above 1 MW and limits module acceptance with certain insurers and institutional investors, compared to Tier 1-rated manufacturers such as Trina Solar and BYD.
