Middle of its segment, modest efficiency
The DAH DHN-78X16/DG panel series introduces groundbreaking Full Screen technology to the Polish market, which effectively eliminates the problem of dust and water accumulation on the lower edge of the module. Thanks to the unique frame design, the glass surface is perfectly flush with its edge, allowing contaminants to flow off freely during rainfall. This solution translates directly into higher energy yields, especially in installations with a low tilt angle, where traditional panels lose efficiency due to accumulated sediment. At the heart of these modules are high-efficiency N-Type TOPCon cells, characterized by excellent resistance to degradation and great efficiency under low light conditions. The implemented bifacial double glass technology allows for additional utilization of light reflected from the ground, which, combined with the large 78-cell format, maximizes power output. This series is primarily dedicated to photovoltaic farms and large industrial facilities, where durability and minimization of maintenance costs are key. DAH DHN-78X16/DG stands out from the competition with its patented self-cleaning design, which solves real operational problems, ensuring stable energy gains for decades without the need for frequent panel cleaning.

The unique frameless design, flush with the glass surface, eliminates dust and water accumulation along the module's bottom edge. The manufacturer documents an energy yield improvement of 6–15% compared to conventional framed panels — particularly significant in utility-scale installations with low tilt angles (≤10°), where sediment buildup is the primary source of PID losses.
The 640 Wp variant achieves 22.9% efficiency, matching the Suntech Ultra V Pro (22.9%) and outperforming the REC Alpha Pro M Series (22.5%) and MY Solar HJT (22.61%). Reaching this figure with TOPCon — which is less costly to manufacture than HJT — reflects a high level of process maturity in DAH's cell production.
N-type TOPCon cells exhibit degradation of ≤1% in Year 1 and ≤0.4%/year in Years 2–30, guaranteeing 87.4% of rated power output after 30 years. By comparison, conventional P-type PERC modules typically degrade at 0.55–0.6%/year, retaining approximately 83–84% of rated power after 30 years — roughly 4 percentage points less.
The warranty guarantees ≥89.4% of rated power after 25 years and ≥87.4% after 30 years, with a linear degradation profile. This directly supports project bankability in PV farm financing — lenders typically require a minimum 25-year linear warranty, while the 30-year horizon provides an additional buffer in DCF models.
DAH Solar has maintained BNEF Tier 1 status continuously for several consecutive quarters, reaffirmed in Q4 2025 and Q1 2026. This is a key formal requirement for securing project finance and bank guarantees for utility-scale PV installations above 1 MW.
The bifacial double glass design eliminates the risk of PID and moisture-induced degradation by removing the rear-side EVA encapsulant, making it especially well-suited for high-humidity environments. The dual-glass structure increases resistance to snow loads (typically up to 5,400 Pa) and wind loads (2,400 Pa), facilitating certification for installations in snow load zones ≥III per EN 1991-1-3.
The materials and workmanship warranty covers only 15 years, while premium competitors in the same power class offer 25 years (e.g., REC Alpha Pro M Series). For investors financing a PV farm over a 20+ year horizon, this creates a potential warranty gap in the later years of operation, which may adversely affect project due diligence assessments.
