Middle of its segment, heavy for its output
The Runergy HY-DH144N8 Plus series consists of photovoltaic modules built on N-Type cells manufactured in TOPCon technology, combining high efficiency with strong resistance to degradation over time. The half-cut cell architecture paired with a multi-busbar (SMBB) layout reduces resistive losses and improves low-light performance, translating into a real gain in energy yield during overcast conditions or in early morning and late afternoon light. Thanks to its bifacial dual-glass design, the module also captures irradiance reflected from the ground on its rear side - a feature that pays off particularly well on ground-mounted arrays or rooftops with light-colored surfaces, gravel, or snow, where ambient albedo is high. The panels stand out for their low annual degradation, characteristic of N-Type cells, allowing them to maintain stable power output throughout the entire service life, a factor investors value when planning long-term return on investment. Compatibility with 1500V DC systems enables longer strings and reduces cabling and balance-of-system (BoS) costs, lowering the overall cost of the installation. The HY-DH144N8 Plus series is well suited for both commercial installations and large-scale solar farms, where the ratio of output to surface area and predictable long-term ROI matter most.

Commercial, utility-scale and shaded-installations.
Weight-limited structures.
Bottom 13% of the N-type 550-600 W segment, against a median of 52.3.
- At 22.6% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical N-type 550-600W modules
- At 226.5 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for N-type 550-600W panels
- Temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C matches the N-type 550-600W median
- At 32.7 kg, this panel is 3.2 kg heavier than the N-type 550-600W median (29.5 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- Bifaciality factor of 80% can add 4-12% extra yield with reflective mounting surface

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by Runergy in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 585 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
