Middle of its segment, needs the roof space
The JS Solar JS182MHC144 photovoltaic panel series is an advanced solution based on M10 type monocrystalline cells, which redefines efficiency in large-scale installations. Thanks to the use of Half-Cut and Multi-busbar technology, these modules effectively minimize energy losses resulting from internal resistance and micro-cracks, translating into stable operation even in difficult lighting conditions. The construction consisting of 144 cells has been optimized to reduce the impact of shading, which is crucial in dense urban areas or on roofs with complex geometry. These panels are distinguished by exceptional resistance to potential-induced degradation (PID), guaranteeing longevity and a constant return on investment for decades. It is an ideal choice for investors seeking a balance between advanced technology and mechanical durability, especially in commercial projects and PV farms. They stand out from the competition with precise matching of current parameters, which facilitates the design of long module strings while maintaining high inverter operating safety. By choosing JS182MHC144, you gain the assurance that the system will maintain high efficiency at high temperatures thanks to a low temperature coefficient, which in the Polish climate allows for maximizing yields during the summer period. It is a solid foundation for modern solar energy, combining innovation with practical utility.

Roofs where every square metre has to count, tight roof space and owners who want a long output guarantee.
Bottom 10% of the 435-635 W band, against a median of 222.6. Ranked 10,849th in the whole database.
Bottom 10% of the 435-635 W band, against a median of 22.26%.
Bottom 11% of the 435-635 W band, against a median of 30 yrs.
Peak module efficiency reaches 21.28%, matching IBC Solar 182M Half Cell (21.28%) and trailing Goldi Solar GS10-B144-TF and S-Energy SL65-72BGJ (both 21.3%) by just 0.02 percentage points. The JS182MHC144 series is therefore fully competitive in terms of energy yield per m² against its direct 525–550 Wp comparables.
The 182 mm (M10) half-cut cell design halves the operating current per cell, cutting resistive I²R losses and limiting micro-crack propagation. Multi-busbar (MBB) shortens the current path to the busbars, further reducing series resistance and improving carrier collection under partial shading conditions.
The series carries verified resistance to potential-induced degradation (PID), which is critical when designing long strings in utility-scale PV plants operating at up to 1500 V DC. Without PID protection, susceptible modules can lose 5–10% of rated power within the first three years of operation.
The module is rated for 5400 Pa snow load (approx. 550 kg/m²) and 2400 Pa wind load, meeting the requirements of snow zones III–IV per EN 1991-1-3. These ratings make the series suitable for open-field and rooftop installations in mountainous regions or high-latitude climates.
At –0.35%/°C, the series sits at the favorable end of the monocrystalline PERC range (typically –0.35% to –0.37%/°C), significantly outperforming older poly-Si modules (–0.42%/°C). With cell temperatures reaching 60–70°C during summer, this translates to approximately 1.7–3.5% higher energy yield in June–August compared to weaker-coefficient modules.
JS Solar (Yixing) does not appear on the BloombergNEF bankable manufacturers list (confirmed: tier_1_bankable: false in supplier data). For projects seeking non-recourse financing through commercial banks or multilateral lenders (EIB, EBRD), the absence of Tier-1 status complicates or blocks project finance approval and may increase insurance premiums. Among direct peers in this power class, IBC Solar carries stronger bankability recognition in European markets.
The JS182MHC144 series offers no bifacial variant. On ground-mounted systems with reflective surfaces (gravel, concrete, snow), bifacial modules typically generate 5–15% additional energy from rear-side irradiance. With bifacial penetration in utility-scale PV exceeding 80% of new capacity additions in 2025 (Wood Mackenzie), the absence of a bifacial option limits the series' competitiveness in the ground-mount segment.
