Efficiency leader, short guarantee
The Heliene 144HC M10 NTYP SL Bifacial series consists of solar modules built on N-type TOPCon cells, engineered to maximize energy yield even in demanding installation conditions. The use of N-type technology results in naturally low light-induced degradation (LID), allowing the panels to maintain high efficiency throughout their entire service life rather than just in the first years after installation. The half-cut cell design reduces cell-to-module losses and improves resilience to partial shading, meaningfully boosting energy production in installations with less-than-ideal exposure. The dual-sided, bifacial construction captures light reflected off the ground, increasing overall yield without requiring additional installed area - a solution particularly attractive for solar farms and industrial rooftops with light-colored surfaces. A reinforced frame paired with thick, 3.2mm tempered glass delivers strong mechanical load resistance, making these panels well suited to regions with heavy snow and wind loads. A low temperature coefficient of power further limits performance drops on hot days. This series is a natural choice for commercial and industrial investors seeking low LCOE and long-term production stability.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Utility-scale and commercial.
Owners who want a long output guarantee and hot climates.
Top 7% of the N-type 550-600 W segment, against a median of 22.45%. Ranked 1,797th in the whole database.
Top 10% of the N-type 550-600 W segment, against a median of 224.5.
Bottom 10% of the N-type 550-600 W segment, against a median of 30 yrs.
Bottom 17% of the N-type 550-600 W segment, against a median of -0.290.
The combination of N-type TOPCon cells, bifacial design, and half-cut cell configuration reduces LID degradation and cell-to-module losses, delivering genuinely higher annual yield at up to 23.02% efficiency compared to older monofacial PERC modules.
Heliene is a Canadian Tier-1 (bankable) manufacturer operating since 2010, with North American production and a domestic content option for the US market - a key advantage for financing commercial and industrial projects.
3.2mm tempered glass and a reinforced frame support front loads up to 5400 Pa and rear loads up to 2400 Pa, making the series suitable for regions with heavy snow and wind loads.
Maximum efficiency of 23.02% is nearly on par with segment leaders (Solarspace Lumina II and Ulica TOPCon at 23.03%) and clearly exceeds Sunova TS-BW78 (21.3%) at the same maximum power of 595 Wp.
The 15-year product warranty and 25-year linear power warranty are shorter than the 25/30 or even 30/30-year terms already offered by some newer N-type modules, which can affect LCOE comparisons in long-term projects.
- At 23.0% efficiency, this panel is 0.6pp above typical N-type 550-600W modules (median: 22.4%)
- Power density of 230.2 W/m² packs 5.7 W/m² more into the same footprint vs N-type 550-600W median (224.5 W/m²)
- At -0.30%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for N-type 550-600W panels
- 80% bifaciality enables rear-side power generation, boosting yield by 4-12% on reflective surfaces
- In the top 13% for efficiency among all N-type panels
