Efficiency leader, short guarantee
The Heliene 144HC M10 SL Bifacial series redefines efficiency standards in large commercial installations and solar farms. The key element is the use of bifacial technology, which allows for the generation of additional energy not only from direct solar radiation but also from light reflected off the ground. The use of enlarged M10 cells combined with advanced Half-Cut architecture effectively minimizes power losses resulting from internal resistance and partial module shading. These panels solve the problem of limited installation space, offering a significantly higher yield per square meter compared to standard monofacial counterparts. The design based on 144 half-cells ensures excellent mechanical stability and increased resistance to extreme weather conditions, which is crucial for investors seeking financial security. This solution is primarily dedicated to professional ground-mounted systems and modern solar tracking structures, where maximizing yields from the albedo effect translates into a measurably faster return on investment. Standing out from the competition, this series features rigorous quality control and an optimized thermal profile, which guarantees high efficiency in full sun, making it one of the most cost-effective choices for the modern RES sector.

Bifacial technology enables additional rear-side energy yield through the albedo effect (typically +5–15% in ground-mount systems with reflective ground cover). The Half-Cut architecture on M10 cells reduces CTM losses and mitigates the impact of partial shading via split junction box design.
The module is rated for 5400 Pa (113 psf) front-side and 2400 Pa (50 psf) rear-side static load per datasheet Rev.03. The 3.2 mm fully tempered front glass provides superior hail resistance. This is a significant advantage for ground-mount installations in high snow- and wind-load zones.
Heliene qualifies as a bankable manufacturer under BNEF criteria (minimum six 10 MW projects financed non-recourse by six different banks). For utility-scale PV assets above 1 MWp, Tier-1 status is a prerequisite for securing non-recourse bank financing and project insurance.
Support for 1500 V DC systems allows longer strings, fewer inverters, and an estimated 5–8% reduction in BoS costs compared to 1000 V designs. This has been the de-facto standard for commercial and utility-scale installations since 2022.
Five variants in the 520–540 Wp range (approximately 5 Wp steps) allow precise string sizing matched to inverter MPPT specifications, minimizing mismatch losses across the array.
Module efficiency of 20.1–20.9% is significantly lower than comparable 540 W panels based on newer cell technologies: Gokin GK-5-60HG reaches 24.4% (+~18%), Horay Solar HS 199R-120 TC-D Delta achieves 23.1% (+~10%). PERC now accounts for less than 20% of global module production (vs. TOPCon at ~65% in 2025 per Fraunhofer ISE), indicating the series is at a technological disadvantage.
The Pmax temperature coefficient is -0.36%/°C (datasheet Rev.03), in line with typical PERC (-0.35%/°C). TOPCon cells achieve -0.31%/°C and HJT -0.26%/°C. At a module operating temperature of 65°C (a common summer condition), the Heliene 144HC M10 SL incurs a ~14.4% power derating vs. ~12.4% for TOPCon — a ~2 pp difference that is measurable in annual energy yield.
Heliene guarantees 86% of rated output after 25 years (2% first-year degradation, ~0.5%/year thereafter). Heliene's own successor series — the NTYP SL Bifacial (N-type TOPCon, 555–585 Wp) — specifies <0.4%/year degradation and >89% power retention after 25 years. Investors with a long LCOE horizon (>20 years) should factor this gap into financial models.
