Middle of its segment, short guarantee
The NeMo 4.1 80M is a German-made monocrystalline module series built for installations that need to perform reliably for decades under demanding conditions. At its core are 80 G12 half-cut cells arranged in a 12-busbar layout, which reduces resistive losses and improves the module's resilience against partial shading and microcracks. A key differentiator is the proprietary microCELL TLS (Thermal Laser Separation) technology, which preserves the full mechanical strength of the cells and results in more stable long-term power output. The module features anti-reflective coated ESG glass, boosting energy yield even under unfavorable light incidence angles. The series is certified for resistance to salt mist and ammonia corrosion, making it a natural choice for coastal installations and agricultural sites, such as those near livestock farms. Production takes place exclusively in Germany, at facilities in Chemnitz and Langenwetzendorf, powered by electricity from the company's own solar plants. The manufacturer backs the modules with a 15-year product warranty and a 25-year performance warranty, giving investors and installers long-term security and a predictable return on investment.

Residential and commercial.
Owners who want a long output guarantee.
Bottom 19% of the 300-500 W band, against a median of 30 yrs.
Efficiency of 19.8-20.5% matches the best peer comparable (Heliene 108HC M10 at 20.5%) and clearly outperforms other rivals such as MWG Mono (19.32%) and DMEGC GH400M10T (15.48%), translating into higher energy yield per roof area.
Modules are produced at the Chemnitz and Langenwetzendorf facilities, powered by the manufacturer's own PV installations, reducing the production carbon footprint and ensuring full supply chain traceability - a strong asset for public tenders and ESG-driven projects.
IEC 61701 (salt mist) certification plus ammonia resistance make the series a natural fit for coastal installations and agricultural sites near livestock farms, where standard modules degrade faster.
The 80-cell G12 half-cut layout with 12 busbars combined with proprietary Thermal Laser Separation technology reduces resistive losses and improves resistance to microcracks and partial shading, meaningfully extending stable module performance.
Tier-1 industry-standard coverage (25-year power warranty, 15-year product warranty) gives investors return predictability on par with other manufacturers in the peer comparables.
The NeMo 4.1 80M series (released 2022, discontinued 2025) has been superseded by the NeMo 4.2 80M, rated up to 405 Wp. This means limited service availability, spare parts, and matching modules for future expansion of existing installations.
The series relies on older P-type PERC cells rather than the newer N-type TOPCon cells Heckert Solar already offers in its Apollon and Zeus lines. PERC is more prone to LID degradation and lower high-temperature efficiency than N-type technologies available from some competitors.
The module is monofacial, while the premium segment increasingly offers bifacial variants that can boost energy yield by several to over ten percent with suitable mounting (e.g., flat roofs with light-colored surfaces or ground-mount installations).
- Efficiency of 20.5% is 1.3pp below the database median (21.8%)
- Power density of 205.4 W/m² is 12.7 W/m² below database median (218.1 W/m²) - needs more roof space
- At -0.34%/°C, loses 0.04pp more power per degree than database median (-0.30%/°C)
- Weight of 21.0 kg (5.5 kg below database median of 26.5 kg) allows easier transport and roof mounting
- In the top 81% for efficiency among all N-type panels
