Solid all-round for its segment
The Hanersun HiTouch 5 series is based on advanced 182 mm monocrystalline cells, which translates into maximizing yields from limited roof space. The use of half-cut cell technology and multi-busbar architecture significantly limits energy losses resulting from internal resistance, which directly increases module efficiency in difficult lighting conditions. Thanks to design optimization, this series offers an exceptionally low temperature coefficient, which makes the panels work efficiently even during hot summer days. These solutions have a real impact on lowering the LCOE cost of energy, making the investment more profitable in the long term. HiTouch 5 modules are dedicated to both demanding residential installations and large photovoltaic farms, where high resistance to mechanical loads and component durability are key. They are distinguished from the competition by the precise matching of voltage parameters, which allows for the design of longer module strings, thereby reducing expenses on cabling and mounting structures. By choosing this series, you gain energy stability and reliability confirmed by rigorous endurance tests, which eliminates the risk of premature cell degradation and guarantees peace of mind for years of operation.

Hanersun has achieved Top Performer status in both the 10th (2024) and 11th (2025) editions of the Kiwa PVEL PV Module Reliability Scorecard. Certification requires degradation below 2% in TC, DH, MSS, and PID testing sequences, and below 1% combined LID+LETID degradation — an independent validation of module durability that the majority of second- and third-tier manufacturers cannot claim.
The peak efficiency of 21.68% matches the Sunova TS-BW72 (21.68%) and exceeds the Premier Energies 144HC (21.67%). Only the Luxor Eco Line M144 leads by approximately 0.24 percentage points (21.92%). The HiTouch 5 series therefore sits in the upper quartile of the half-cut PERC 182 mm segment, with no single peer comparable holding a clear advantage.
Hanersun appears on the official BNEF Tier 1 Solar Module Manufacturers list published in March 2026 (manufacturing capacity: 5 GW/year), enabling commercial project and utility-scale PV plant financing through lenders that require a bankable manufacturer.
The datasheet confirms certified static load ratings of 5,400 Pa (snow) and 2,400 Pa (wind), in line with the upper threshold of IEC 61215 requirements. This makes the series well suited for installations in mountainous and high-snowfall regions of Poland and Central Europe without additional structural reinforcement.
The manufacturer provides a linear power output warranty for 30 years, whereas most mid-tier brands in the PERC segment offer a standard 25-year term. The extended warranty horizon directly reduces investment risk and LCOE when modeling projects with long financing periods.
PERC cells exhibit higher LID (~0.5–2% vs. <0.5% for N-type) and a lower bifacial factor (~65–75% vs. ~80–85% for TOPCon/HJT). Hanersun itself has introduced the HiTouch 5N series (N-TOPCon, up to 23.1% efficiency), signaling the technological aging of the PERC line and potentially reduced long-term serviceability.
The product warranty covering manufacturing defects is 15 years; select Tier-1 manufacturers — such as LONGi Hi-MO X6 Explorer and Jinko Tiger Neo — offer a 25-year product warranty in a comparable power class. The shorter term may be a limiting factor for projects financed under requirements mandating a 20–25-year product warranty.
- At 20.9% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 500-550W modules
- At 209.0 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for PERC 500-550W panels
- Temperature coefficient of -0.35%/°C matches the PERC 500-550W median
- At 31.5 kg, this panel is 3.1 kg heavier than the PERC 500-550W median (28.4 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- Bifacial design (75% factor) captures reflected light - adds 4-11% yield on ground-mount or white roof
