Strong in heat, short guarantee
The ET Solar Elite PLUS series is an advanced solution for investors seeking maximum efficiency from limited roof or ground space. These panels utilize N-type TOPCon cell technology, which effectively eliminates the problem of light- and voltage-induced degradation, guaranteeing stable energy yields for decades. Thanks to the use of bifacial design in selected variants, these modules can generate additional current from radiation reflected off the ground, which significantly increases the profitability of installations on bright flat roofs or ground structures. What sets this series apart from the competition is, above all, an excellent temperature coefficient, allowing for the maintenance of high efficiency even during extreme heat, when standard panels lose power. This solution is dedicated to demanding prosumers and photovoltaic farm owners who care about maximizing self-consumption and a fast return on investment. Certification for high-voltage operation at 1500V reduces system costs, and tempered glass with a unique texture improves performance in low sunlight conditions. A robust frame and high junction box sealing ensure above-average resistance to harsh weather conditions, such as hail, ammonia, or strong wind gusts. Elite PLUS is a synonym for reliability in the variable Polish climate, combining technical innovations with the longevity of all system components.

Owners who want a long output guarantee and roofs where every square metre has to count.
Top 23% of the PERC 500-550 W segment, against a median of -0.350.
Bottom 23% of the PERC 500-550 W segment, against a median of 30 yrs.
Bottom 25% of the PERC 500-550 W segment, against a median of 209.0.
A peak efficiency of 21.4% places this series directly alongside the best comparable models on the market: JA Solar DEEP BLUE 3.0 reaches 21.5%, DAH DHM-72X10 achieves 21.48%, and Boviet VEGA comes in at 21.3%. The gap to the segment leader is just 0.1 percentage points — a difference that is negligible in any real-world installation.
Five power variants (in ~5 Wp increments) provide design flexibility for systems with varying roof areas and inverter configurations, minimizing mismatch losses within a string.
The datasheet confirms a snow load rating of 5,400 Pa and a wind load rating of 2,400 Pa. TÜV SÜD certification for salt mist and ammonia resistance (Class C4/C3) makes this series well suited for demanding environments, including coastal sites, agricultural facilities, and industrial installations.
A standard 25-year performance warranty is in line with the market norm for this power class (535–555 Wp); comparable products such as the JA Solar DEEP BLUE 3.0 and Boviet VEGA offer the same warranty horizon.
Production was discontinued in 2023 after only three years on the market (launched in 2020). This means limited availability of additional modules for system expansion, no dedicated technical support for this series, and potential difficulties obtaining a warranty replacement unit.
ET Solar does not appear on the BNEF Tier-1 Bankable Manufacturers lists (2022–2023), unlike JA Solar, the leader among peer comparables. The absence of Tier-1 status disqualifies or complicates project financing that requires bankable module coverage, and may increase insurance costs for commercial installations.
ET Solar offers a 12-year product warranty, whereas JA Solar's DEEP BLUE 3.0 series carries a standard 15-year warranty. The three-year difference is material for commercial projects with longer financing horizons, such as 10–12-year lease structures.
Industry forums (DIY Solar Power Forum, EnergySage) and SolarReviews have reported instances of ET Solar's service being unreachable — including an inactive email address and a disconnected U.S. phone number (complaints filed as of May 2022). The company also underwent bankruptcy proceedings and a 20-month operational hiatus before being reactivated, posing an additional risk to the continuity of warranty claim processing.
This series is based on mono-Si PERC cells, while the market largely transitioned to N-type TOPCon during 2022–2023. TOPCon offers a lower LID degradation rate (~0.3%/year vs. ~0.5%/year for PERC) and a better temperature coefficient of power. Next-generation peer comparables — such as the JA Solar Deep Blue 4.0 Pro — already offer N-type technology at a comparable price point.
- At 20.7% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 500-550W modules
- At 207.0 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for PERC 500-550W panels
- At -0.34%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for PERC 500-550W panels
- #10764 for efficiency, #8778 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
