Warranty pick, modest efficiency
The Aptos Solar DNA 144 photovoltaic panel series redefines performance standards thanks to the use of patented Dual Nano Absorber (DNA) technology, which allows for efficient energy generation even in difficult lighting conditions and at high ambient temperatures. The innovative approach to split-cell design significantly reduces losses resulting from internal resistance and minimizes the negative impact of partial shading on the operation of the entire string. These modules are characterized by exceptional mechanical durability, which, combined with advanced lamination, effectively protects the cells against micro-cracks and potential-induced degradation (PID). DNA 144 is a solution created for demanding commercial projects and solar farms, where the priority is to achieve the maximum power density ratio from the available surface. By using the 144-cell format, these panels optimize installation and cabling costs while offering better performance in full sun compared to traditional silicon modules. It is an option for investors seeking a balance between modern technology and robust construction, guaranteeing stable yields and energy security for many years of operation in the variable Polish climate.

The Dual Nano Absorber technology combines nano-passivation with half-cut PERC cell construction, reducing internal resistance and improving performance under diffuse light conditions. This technological advancement, compared to standard PERC modules without additional passivation, is confirmed by a patent held by the manufacturer.
The manufacturer guarantees ≥98% power output in the first year, ≥90.7% after 20 years, and ≥85.1% after 30 years, with a degradation rate of ≤0.54%/year. Most of the market only offers 25-year performance warranties, making this series a better option for projects with long-term financing horizons.
The modules can withstand wind loads of 6,200 Pa and snow loads of 5,400 Pa, exceeding the standard requirements of IEC 61215 (2,400/5,400 Pa). This is a key parameter for installations in Polish climatic conditions, which are characterized by heavy snowfall and strong winds.
Pmax = −0.36%/°C performs better than typical PERC modules (−0.38 to −0.40%/°C). At an operating temperature of 70°C, which is typical for Polish summer conditions, this translates to approximately 0.5–1.5% higher power output compared to the average PERC module of the same class.
Dividing the cells into pairs reduces the current in each cell by 50%, which lowers resistive losses and increases resistance to partial shading. The 144-cell format optimizes the power-to-cost ratio for cabling in commercial and PV farm projects.
The 19.75–20.21% range is significantly lower than all comparable products: KDM Kingdom Solar (22.5%), Lina Energy (22.37%), and Luxor Solar (22.86%) – the difference is 2.2–3.1 percentage points. For the same 440 W power output, the DNA 144 series occupies approximately 10–13% more roof space, which is a significant limitation in prosumer installations with limited space.
All comparable technologies use N-type TOPCon, which exhibits a lower LID (Light-Induced Degradation) and better long-term thermal stability. PERC is a technology of an older generation, which may result in faster real degradation over a 25–30-year lifespan.
Aptos Solar (founded in 2019) does not appear on the BNEF Tier 1 bankability list according to the BloombergNEF methodology as of March 2026. For commercial and PV farm projects, Tier 1 status is often a formal requirement of financing banks and insurance companies, which can limit the use of this series in large-scale investments.
