The VSP-T series consists of bifacial photovoltaic modules engineered to capture sunlight from both the front and rear side of the panel, maximizing energy harvest without expanding the installation footprint. At the core of the design are PERC monocrystalline 182mm (M10) cells built with half-cut technology and a multibusbar layout, which meaningfully reduces power losses under partial shading and improves performance stability in less-than-ideal irradiance conditions. Thanks to the extra yield generated from the rear surface, project owners gain higher energy output per square meter, which lowers BoS costs and shortens the return on investment (ROI) timeline. This makes the VSP-T series well suited for residential rooftops as well as commercial, industrial, and utility-scale ground-mount projects. Every module undergoes a triple electroluminescence (3 EL) test, ensuring high build quality and catching hidden micro-cracks before they leave the factory. The construction is completed with a PID-resistant laminate, a durable frame, and a UV-blocking backsheet that supports better heat dissipation. Mechanical durability rated for snow loads up to 5400 Pa and wind loads up to 2400 Pa makes these panels resilient against harsh weather, sand, salt mist, and hail, backed by a linear power warranty spanning 30 years.

Common questions

6 answered
How does the bifacial VSP-T panel differ from a standard mono-facial panel?
VSP-T series panels feature a transparent rear laminate instead of a standard backsheet, allowing the PERC cells to also capture light reflected off the roof or ground behind the module. This additional bifacial energy gain typically adds several to over ten percent more energy yield from the same roof area without adding more panels, lowering the cost per kilowatt-hour produced.
What warranty comes with VSP-T panels and what does it cover?
Vespa Solar Enerji provides a 15-year product warranty covering material and workmanship defects, along with a 30-year linear power warranty guaranteeing a defined minimum percentage of initial output throughout that period. This warranty structure is standard for modern PERC bifacial modules and gives investors confidence in stable energy yield over the system's lifetime.
Are 555 Wp VSP-T panels suitable for a residential installation?
Yes, output up to 555 Wp makes the VSP-T series well suited to both small residential rooftop systems and larger commercial projects. A higher per-module power rating means fewer panels are needed to reach the target system capacity, which shortens installation time and reduces mounting structure and cabling costs.
What is half-cut cell technology in VSP-T panels and why does it matter?
Half-cut means each silicon cell is cut in half and connected in a multibusbar layout. This significantly reduces power losses from partial shading, such as from a chimney or a fallen leaf, compared to traditional full-cell panels, and it also lowers thermal losses, resulting in better real-world efficiency across varying sunlight conditions.
Can VSP-T panels withstand heavy wind and snow loads?
Yes, VSP-T modules are rated for mechanical loads of up to 5400 Pa for snow and 2400 Pa for wind, exceeding typical requirements for most climates. The reinforced frame and PID-resistant laminate also help the panels perform reliably under harsh conditions, including sand, salt spray, and hail.
Is Vespa Solar Enerji a tier 1 manufacturer, and where are VSP-T panels made?
Vespa Solar Enerji is a Turkish manufacturer that currently does not appear on the Bloomberg NEF tier 1 list. This does not indicate lower build quality, since every panel undergoes triple electroluminescence testing (3 EL) to eliminate hidden microcracks, but it is worth considering when arranging project financing or insurance, where tier 1 status is sometimes a requirement.
