Strong in heat, no clear weak spot
Vertex N G3 is Trina Solar's new generation of photovoltaic modules designed to maximize the use of available roof or ground space while keeping overall system costs down. The series is built on advanced n-type i-TOPCon Ultra technology, delivering high conversion efficiency and stable module performance throughout its service life. Thanks to bifacial technology, the panels also capture light reflected from the surrounding surface, providing additional energy yield without expanding the installation footprint. The multi-cut cell design combined with edge passivation reduces current losses and improves resistance to microcracks, which matters during transport and installation in demanding conditions. A low temperature coefficient and reduced annual degradation allow the module to maintain high productivity even in hot climates and over extended operation. The Vertex N G3 series works well for both rooftop installations and large ground-mount solar farms, where lowering BoS costs and LCOE is a key priority. It is a solution aimed at investors and installers looking for high-performance panels that genuinely reduce the cost of electricity generation per kilowatt-hour over the entire system lifecycle.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Utility-scale and commercial.
Top 1% of the TOPCon 700-750 W segment, against a median of -0.290. Ranked 515th in the whole database.
Top 2% of the TOPCon 700-750 W segment, against a median of 230.2. Ranked 460th in the whole database.
Top 3% of the TOPCon 700-750 W segment, against a median of 23.00%. Ranked 462nd in the whole database.
- Efficiency of 23.8% is 0.8pp above the TOPCon 700-750W median (23.0%)
- 238.2 W/m² power density - 8.0 W/m² more than TOPCon 700-750W median (230.2 W/m²), more power per roof area
- -0.26%/°C temperature coefficient (median: -0.29%/°C) - retains ~1% more power at high temperatures
- Bifacial design (85% factor) captures reflected light - adds 4-13% yield on ground-mount or white roof
- In the top 3% for efficiency among all TOPCon panels

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by Trina Solar in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 740 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
