Talesun™ TM7G54M (BIPRO) are bifacial modules designed for maximum energy yield where every square meter of roof or structure counts. The application of N-type TOPCon cells helps minimize typical power losses over time and maintains high production even after many seasons of operation. Thanks to bifacial technology, the module actively utilizes reflected light from the ground-real advantage on light-colored roofs, carports, geotextile or gravel-covered ground, and also in vertical installations.

The dual glass construction is noteworthy, increasing resistance to moisture, dust, and demanding environmental conditions, while also facilitating stable operation in locations subjected to loads and variable temperatures. Built-in Anti-PID solutions and a sealed connector box support long-term reliability.

TM7G54M (BIPRO) is an excellent choice for premium homes, businesses, and PV farms that want to reduce LCOE without compromising on durability and aesthetics.

Common questions

6 answered
How does the bifacial technology in Talesun TM7G54M (BIPRO) panels differ from standard monofacial panels?
TM7G54M (BIPRO) panels generate power from both sides of the module - the front side works like a standard panel, while the rear side additionally captures light reflected from the surrounding surface (roof, gravel, geotextile, or light-colored ground). This delivers a real energy yield gain without increasing installation area, especially noticeable on bright roofs, carports, or in vertical mounting. The dual glass construction also protects the rear cells, enabling this bifacial gain.
What warranty comes with Talesun TM7G54M (BIPRO) panels and what does it cover?
The manufacturer provides a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year power performance warranty, guaranteeing around 84.8% of nominal power after that period. Talesun is a Tier 1 manufacturer, meaning strong financial stability and a realistic chance of honoring warranty terms over the full period. Annual power degradation is low - up to 1% in the first year and about 0.4% per year afterward.
What is the maximum power of the TM7G54M (BIPRO) panel and what installations is it suited for?
The series reaches up to 440 Wp of maximum power using 108 N-type TOPCon half-cut cells with 16BB busbar technology. Combining high power output, bifacial gain, and a robust dual glass construction, the panel works well for premium residential homes as well as commercial and utility-scale PV farms, where maximizing yield from available roof or ground area is the priority.
Do Talesun TM7G54M (BIPRO) panels require reinforced roof mounting because of the dual glass construction?
The panel weighs about 24.5 kg at dimensions of 1722x1134x30 mm, somewhat more than backsheet modules, which should be factored into roof load calculations. However, it's rated to withstand up to 5400 Pa of snow load and 2400 Pa of wind load, so standard roof and ground-mount racking systems with clamps designed for glass-glass modules are fully suitable, as long as the extra weight is accounted for in the design.
Do TM7G54M (BIPRO) panels perform well in hot summer conditions on the roof?
Yes. The panel has a power temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C, which is better (lower) than many older cell technologies. This means smaller power losses as modules heat up on hot days. This is thanks to the N-type TOPCon cells, which are less sensitive to high temperatures than classic P-type PERC cells, resulting in more stable energy production during summer.
Do Talesun TM7G54M (BIPRO) panels have protection against PID?
Yes, the modules have passed a 192-hour Anti-PID resistance test and include protection against Potential Induced Degradation. This matters especially in larger installations with high system voltage, where PID can cause permanent and hard-to-reverse power loss in the modules over time.
