Middle of its segment, modest efficiency
The Sunlike Solar SKT420-440M10-108D5 HPBC module series introduces a new quality to the Polish market thanks to the use of breakthrough HPBC cell technology, which eliminates the traditional shading problem caused by busbars. Moving all contacts to the rear side of the cell means that the lack of front busbars allows for the absorption of significantly more solar radiation, which directly increases power generation efficiency. This solution perfectly addresses the needs of single-family homeowners and commercial facilities, for whom maximum power with limited installation space is crucial. The utilized Half-Cell construction combined with M10 type cells effectively reduces internal energy losses and significantly improves the module's resistance to spot shading, which can be a challenge in dense urban areas. A key differentiator of the series is also its excellent performance in low light, allowing for stable energy production on cloudy days or with a low solar incidence angle. By choosing these modules, investors gain not only elegant aesthetics but, above all, a guarantee of long-term reliability and lower operating costs for the entire system. This technologically advanced solution stands out from market competitors with a significantly better temperature coefficient, which translates into real profits and energy security in the variable Polish climate.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Tight roof space, roofs where every square metre has to count and weight-limited structures.
Bottom 9% of the Back Contact 400-450 W segment, against a median of 22.30%. Ranked 7,958th in the whole database.
Bottom 9% of the Back Contact 400-450 W segment, against a median of 222.7. Ranked 7,882nd in the whole database.
Bottom 24% of the Back Contact 400-450 W segment, against a median of 48.2.
- Efficiency of 21.5% is 0.8pp below the Back Contact 400-450W median (22.3%)
- Power density of 215.1 W/m² is 7.6 W/m² below Back Contact 400-450W median (222.7 W/m²) - needs more roof space
- Temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C matches the Back Contact 400-450W median
- In the top 57% for efficiency among all Back Contact panels
