The SunKean SKT415-435M10-108S1 series comprises modules featuring monocrystalline N-type TOPCon cells, designed for high energy production even under less-than-ideal conditions. The use of N-type TOPCon results in very low LID and LETID degradation, helping to maintain stable performance over the long term. The half-cut configuration with 108 cells minimizes internal losses and improves performance under partial shading, making it particularly suitable for roof installations with skylights, chimneys, or variable exposure.

The 16BB multi-busbar architecture also supports better current collection and higher resistance to micro-cracks during transport and installation. An additional advantage is the anti-reflective glass, which improves light utilization in low-sunlight conditions.

This is a good choice for residential and commercial installations where reliable performance, predictable yields, and modern technology are key.

Common questions

6 answered
What warranty does the SunKean SKT415~435M10-108S1 series come with?
SunKean provides a 12-year product warranty on SKT415~435M10-108S1 modules, covering manufacturing defects and material failures. The series also includes a 25-year linear power warranty: at least 97.5% of rated output after year one, and no less than 89.4% after 25 years. These guarantees provide a solid baseline for calculating long-term ROI on both residential and commercial installations.
What is TOPCon technology and why choose the SunKean SKT415~435M10-108S1 series?
TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) is an N-type monocrystalline cell technology that achieves higher efficiency and significantly lower LID and LETID degradation compared to PERC. The SKT415~435M10-108S1 modules reach up to 21.77% module efficiency, delivering more energy from the same roof area. Over the long term, this means more stable and predictable energy yields throughout the system's operational lifetime.
How much does the SunKean SKT435 weigh and is it suitable for a typical sloped roof?
The SKT435 module measures 1722×1134×30 mm and weighs 20.5 kg, which is standard for 430+ W class panels. This weight and size are well within the load capacity of typical residential roof structures. The 108-cell half-cut layout improves performance under partial shading from chimneys or dormers, and the anodized aluminum frame ensures weather resistance throughout the full warranty period.
Do SunKean SKT435 panels perform well in cloudy or low-irradiance conditions?
Yes. N-type TOPCon cells offer better spectral response at low irradiance compared to PERC technology. The anti-reflective coated glass on the SKT415~435M10-108S1 modules further improves light absorption at low incidence angles, typical of mornings, evenings, and overcast days. In practice, this results in higher annual energy yields in temperate climates such as those found across Poland and Central Europe.
Is the SunKean SKT415~435M10-108S1 series a bifacial panel?
No, the SKT415~435M10-108S1 series is a monofacial (single-sided) panel. Energy is captured only from the front surface. This makes it the right choice for standard rooftop installations where the rear side is covered by the roof surface or receives insufficient reflected irradiance, keeping overall system costs lower and installation straightforward without the need for elevated racking.
What does the 16BB multi-busbar design mean in the SKT415~435M10-108S1 panels and what are the practical benefits?
16BB refers to 16 busbars per cell. More busbars shorten the current path, reducing resistive losses and increasing module efficiency. Equally important is improved resistance to micro-cracks during transport and installation: mechanical stress is distributed across 16 contact lines rather than the 5 or 9 found in older designs. This directly reduces the risk of hidden cell damage that could cause power output degradation over the first few operating seasons.
