Space saver, heavy for its output
The SunEvo Solar SE5-54HBD series is a range of modules designed for high performance in real-world conditions, even when the roof or ground is not perfectly sunlit. The use of N-type cells in the HJT technology and a bifacial design allows the panel to effectively utilize not only direct sunlight, but also reflected light from a bright surface, such as the ground, facade, or roof membrane. This results in more stable energy yields and a better return on investment.
Compared to the competition, the glass-glass construction offers increased resistance to aging, micro-cracks, and harsh weather conditions, and the bifacial technology supports additional energy production. It is also worth noting the low temperature coefficient, which means the module loses less power during hot weather, and the N-type HJT cells, which are known for their excellent performance in low light.
This is a good choice for residential and commercial installations, especially where durability, aesthetics, and long-term energy yield are important.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial and hot-climate.
Weight-limited structures and hot climates.
Top 15% of the HJT 450-500 W segment, against a median of 227.7.
Top 16% of the HJT 450-500 W segment, against a median of 22.77%.
Bottom 12% of the HJT 450-500 W segment, against a median of 49.3.
Bottom 22% of the HJT 450-500 W segment, against a median of -0.240.
- At 23.0% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical HJT 450-500W modules
- At 230.4 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for HJT 450-500W panels
- -0.26%/°C temperature coefficient - 0.02pp worse than HJT 450-500W median (-0.24%/°C), expect higher hot weather losses
- Bifaciality factor of 90% can add 4-14% extra yield with reflective mounting surface
- #1711 for efficiency, #511 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by SunEvo Solar in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 450 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
