The SunEvo Solar EVO B series consists of modules with Back Contact (BC) technology, where all metallization and electrical connections are located on the back of the cells. This makes the front of the panel optically cleaner, and the installation looks consistent on both the roof and the facade - without the visible grid of conductors that often detract from the appearance in traditional modules. In practice, EVO B also ensures more stable performance over time, thanks to full back soldering, which increases resistance to micro-cracks and reduces the risk of energy yield losses after transport or long-term operation.

A key feature of the series is the combination of aesthetics with real practical benefits: reduced shading losses from the front elements and improved performance in challenging installation conditions. For installers, the option of prefabricated integration with an intelligent optimizer is also important, which simplifies management of safety and monitoring at the module level.

EVO B is suitable for single-family homes, commercial buildings, and projects where appearance, reliability, and predictable energy yield are important.

Common questions

6 answered
What is the Back Contact technology in SunEvo Solar EVO B panels and is it worth it?
In Back Contact (BC) technology, all metal conductors and electrical connections are moved to the rear side of the cell. This means the front surface of the EVO B panel has no visible electrode grid, which eliminates shading losses from front contacts and improves conversion efficiency. In practice, this translates to higher energy yield for the same roof area and a clean, uniform aesthetic on the installation.
What warranty does the SunEvo Solar EVO B series carry?
The EVO B series comes with a 15-year product warranty covering material and workmanship defects, and a 25-year linear power output warranty. This means the manufacturer guarantees a defined performance level for a quarter century of operation. Before purchasing, confirm that your local distributor provides warranty support in your country.
What is the maximum power output of the SunEvo Solar EVO B and what installations is it suited for?
The EVO B module reaches a peak power of up to 600 Wp, making it suitable for residential prosumer systems as well as commercial projects. The high unit power output reduces the number of panels needed to reach the target system capacity, which lowers installation labor costs and roof load.
Do SunEvo Solar EVO B panels perform well under partial shading, for example from a chimney or antenna?
Yes, the Back Contact technology in the EVO B series handles partial shading better than conventional front-contact modules because there are no front busbars to cast additional shadows on the active cell area. The series also supports prefabricated integration with a smart module-level power optimizer (MLPE), allowing each panel to operate independently and minimizing MPPT losses caused by localized shade.
How do SunEvo Solar EVO B panels differ from standard TOPCon or PERC monocrystalline modules?
Unlike TOPCon and PERC modules, the EVO B series places all electrical contacts on the rear of the cell, fully eliminating shading of the active surface by front-side metallization. The result is a lower temperature coefficient and higher yield on hot days. EVO B modules also feature full-back welding, which improves micro-crack resistance compared to conventional front-side metallization found in PERC and standard TOPCon designs.
Is SunEvo Solar a Tier 1 manufacturer and how does that affect the investment risk?
SunEvo Solar is not currently listed as a Tier 1 manufacturer by major PV rating agencies. This means you should carefully verify the supplier's financial stability and local warranty support before purchasing. It does not necessarily mean lower product quality, but banks financing large-scale PV projects typically require modules from certified Tier 1 manufacturers.
