Light for its output, weak in heat
The SunEvo Solar EVO 5N series is designed for high energy production under real-world operating conditions, particularly when module temperatures rise or when the installation is in a challenging environment. The use of N-type cells in the TOPCon technology helps to minimize typical power losses seen in older solutions, while also improving long-term stability. In practice, this means more predictable performance and easier cost planning.
The EVO 5N modules utilize half-cut design and multi-busbar architecture (SMBB/MBB), which supports better performance under partial shading and reduces the risk of microcracks that can affect performance. Bifacial variants also allow for additional energy recovery from reflected light - particularly on bright roofs, ground, or in industrial installations.
This series is for demanding prosumers, companies, and PV farms that want to invest in more modern technology and longer-term performance guarantees rather than compromising on the performance of P-type panels.

Top 7% of the HJT 450-500 W segment, against a median of 49.3. Ranked 1,258th in the whole database.
Top 15% of the HJT 450-500 W segment, against a median of 227.7.
Top 16% of the HJT 450-500 W segment, against a median of 22.77%.
Bottom 22% of the HJT 450-500 W segment, against a median of -0.240.
- Efficiency of 23.0% matches the HJT 450-500W median
- At 230.4 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for HJT 450-500W panels
- -0.26%/°C temperature coefficient - 0.02pp worse than HJT 450-500W median (-0.24%/°C), expect higher hot weather losses
- At 21.0 kg, this panel is 2.0 kg lighter than HJT 450-500W median (23.0 kg) - easier handling during installation
- 90% bifaciality enables rear-side power generation, boosting yield by 4-14% on reflective surfaces

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by SunEvo Solar in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 450 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
