The Risen TITAN RSM110-8-BMDG (535-560Wp) series are dual-glass, bifacial modules that genuinely boost energy yield by generating power from both sides, particularly effective on light-colored roofs, ground structures, and rooftop installations. The application of bifacial technology maximizes the use of reflected light, enhancing daily energy production without adding extra panels.

Compared to standard modules, these are distinguished by their double glass construction, which offers superior protection against moisture, micro-cracking, and accelerated aging-key features in Polish conditions, where freeze-thaw cycles can expedite degradation. Additionally, the modules are designed for stable performance in high temperatures, minimizing output losses during summer months. From an engineering perspective, the reduced risk of string mismatch is also notable, thanks to parameter selection and quality control.

This makes them an excellent choice for utility-scale PV farms, industrial facilities, and large commercial rooftops, where maximizing yield per square meter and resilience in challenging conditions are paramount.

About the TITAN RSM110-8-BMDG (535–560Wp) series

6 answered

These answers cover the whole series. Where a figure differs, the specification above is this module's own.

Is the Risen TITAN RSM110-8-BMDG (535-560Wp) series still available for purchase?
The Risen TITAN RSM110-8-BMDG series has been discontinued and is no longer available through regular distribution channels. If you need a module with similar specs - bifacial, dual glass, power output above 535 Wp - ask your distributor about newer Risen series or alternative Tier 1 products with comparable specifications. Remaining stock may occasionally be available, but without guaranteed supply continuity.
What does bifacial technology offer in the Risen TITAN RSM110-8-BMDG, and when does it actually pay off?
Bifacial technology allows the module to generate power from both the front and rear surfaces by capturing light reflected from the ground or rooftop. The RSM110-8-BMDG has a bifaciality factor of approximately 70%, which under favorable conditions - light-colored ground cover, ground-mounted systems, white membrane rooftops - can realistically increase energy yield by several to over ten percent. The greatest gains come from ground-mount and agrivoltaic installations; gains are smaller on dark ceramic roof tiles.
What is the warranty on the Risen TITAN RSM110-8-BMDG solar panels?
Risen provides a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty for the RSM110-8-BMDG series. After 30 years, the panel should retain at least 80.7% of its nominal power output. The dual glass construction further extends the module's practical service life, as it is significantly more resistant to moisture ingress and microcracks than standard backsheet laminates.
Does the dual glass construction of the RSM110-8-BMDG perform well in a Polish climate?
Yes. The dual glass design eliminates the backsheet, which is typically the weakest point in standard modules exposed to freeze-thaw cycles and moisture - conditions common throughout Polish winters. The glass back panel does not absorb moisture and withstands mechanical stress better than polymer backsheets. The RSM110-8-BMDG is rated for snow loads up to 5400 Pa, equivalent to more than a meter of wet snow, which is sufficient for the vast majority of locations in Poland.
What type of installations is the Risen TITAN RSM110-8-BMDG (up to 560 Wp) best suited for?
With a peak power of 560 Wp and dimensions of 2384 × 1096 mm, the RSM110-8-BMDG series is designed primarily for utility-scale PV farms, large industrial facilities, and commercial flat rooftops. The large format and bifacial design deliver the highest energy yield per square meter where space is available and modules can be elevated above the surface. For residential rooftops, a smaller module format is generally more practical - the approximately 34 kg weight and large footprint complicate installation on pitched roofs.
How do the Risen TITAN RSM110-8-BMDG modules perform in high summer temperatures?
Like most PERC modules, the RSM110-8-BMDG loses power as cell temperature rises - the power temperature coefficient is approximately -0.35% per degree Celsius above 25°C. The dual glass (glass-glass) construction dissipates heat somewhat more efficiently than backsheet modules, resulting in slightly lower operating temperatures and reduced losses on hot days. This is one of the reasons bifacial dual glass modules are widely used in large ground-mount installations where thermal performance is a key factor.
