Middle of its segment, weak in heat
Just Solar Halfcut 182mm MONO MODULE is a series of panels that focuses on maximizing yields from limited roof space through the use of M10-type cells with a 182 mm side. The use of half-cut technology allows for a significant reduction in energy losses resulting from internal resistance and provides higher resistance to partial shading, which is crucial for complex roof surfaces with dormers or chimneys. This series effectively solves the problem of performance drops at high temperatures by offering an optimized temperature coefficient, which translates into more stable operation of the entire installation on hot days. Thanks to the use of an advanced multi-busbar (MBB) structure, these modules collect electrical charge much more efficiently, while simultaneously minimizing the risk of harmful micro-cracks in the silicon structure. It is a solution dedicated to demanding investors looking for a middle ground between innovative technology and long-term reliability. Compared to older standards, the 182 mm series from Just Solar offers increased mechanical frame rigidity and better resistance to snow and wind loads. This makes these panels an ideal choice for the Polish climate, guaranteeing high energy conversion efficiency in both residential installations and large commercial systems. Choosing this series is an investment in energy security based on proven monocrystalline cell architecture.

N-type cells eliminate Light Induced Degradation (LID), which causes a 1–2% first-year power loss in P-type PERC modules. TOPCon's typical temperature coefficient of –0.30%/°C vs. –0.35%/°C for PERC translates to measurably higher energy yield on hot days. Among direct peer comparables, only Just Solar ships N-type — the Premier Energies 560 Wp remains PERC.
The manufacturer provides a 30-year linear power warranty — 5 years beyond the 25-year standard common at this price point. For residential and C&I installations with a 25–30-year lifecycle, this ensures full warranty coverage throughout the system's operational life.
The series achieves 21.7–21.9% efficiency, matching or exceeding all direct peer comparables in the 182mm class (Exiom EX560 and Fellow Energy FE72-18X at 21.7%; Premier Energies PERC at 21.67%). The 21.9% figure for the 560 Wp variant is competitive with Tier 1 TOPCon offerings in the M10 cell format.
Splitting cells in half reduces operating current by 50%, cutting I²R resistive losses and improving partial shading tolerance from chimneys and dormers. The multi-busbar (MBB) layout shortens current paths, lowers microcrack risk in the silicon, and improves charge collection under diffuse irradiance conditions.
M10 cells deliver higher per-module power output than the older M6 format (166 mm) while remaining fully compatible with standard racking systems and inverters with MPPT inputs designed for this module class. The 555–560 Wp output in a standard footprint simplifies system design and BoS cost estimation.
Just Solar does not appear on the BloombergNEF bankable Tier 1 module manufacturer list (Q1 2026), directly limiting project bankability for non-recourse-financed commercial and utility-scale installations. For bank-financed C&I projects where Tier 1 status is a hard prerequisite, panels from Jinko, LONGi, or Trina face no such restriction.
The product (workmanship) warranty is 15 years, while leading Tier 1 TOPCon manufacturers in the same power class — JA Solar, LONGi, Canadian Solar — provide 25-year product warranties. The shorter coverage increases investor risk for latent manufacturing defects arising after year 15.
The series is not bifacial (is_bifacial: false), while the direct peer comparable Premier Energies offers a BIFACIAL DUAL GLASS variant at the same 560 Wp power class. Bifacial TOPCon panels typically generate 10–20% additional energy from the rear surface depending on ground albedo, making the monofacial design sub-optimal for ground-mount systems or rooftops with light-colored surfaces.
- Module efficiency of 21.7% is 0.7pp below average for TOPCon 550-600W panels (median: 22.4%)
- At 214.8 W/m², this panel generates 9.7 W/m² less per unit area than TOPCon 550-600W median (224.4 W/m²)
- -0.36%/°C temperature coefficient - 0.07pp worse than TOPCon 550-600W median (-0.29%/°C), expect higher hot weather losses
- Weight of 29.0 kg (2.2 kg below TOPCon 550-600W median of 31.2 kg) allows easier transport and roof mounting
- In the top 53% for efficiency among all TOPCon panels
