Light for its output, short guarantee
JS-N-TOPCon SERIES are advanced photovoltaic modules based on N-type cell technology, which sets new efficiency standards in the Polish RES sector. The use of innovative TOPCon architecture allows for minimizing energy losses resulting from electron recombination, which translates into realistically higher yields from every square meter of the installation. This series addresses the key problem of light-induced degradation (LID), offering investors long-term power stability and a faster return on investment. The panels are characterized by exceptional efficiency in low light conditions, which is crucial in the Polish climate zone during cloudy days. An excellent temperature coefficient ensures that the modules maintain high productivity even during summer heat, outperforming standard P-type solutions. This product is dedicated to demanding residential users and commercial projects where maximizing self-consumption and component durability are essential. By choosing these modules, you gain increased resistance to aging effects and the certainty that the system will maintain optimal parameters for decades. It is a solid alternative to the competition, combining the latest technological thought with high mechanical resistance to harsh weather conditions.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial, utility-scale and hot-climate.
Owners who want a long output guarantee, tight roof space and roofs where every square metre has to count.
Top 14% of the TOPCon 550-600 W segment, against a median of 53.8.
Bottom 5% of the TOPCon 550-600 W segment, against a median of 30 yrs. Ranked 9,798th in the whole database.
Bottom 19% of the TOPCon 550-600 W segment, against a median of 22.44%.
Bottom 20% of the TOPCon 550-600 W segment, against a median of 224.4.
The peak efficiency of 22.45% in the 580 Wp variant matches the best peer comparables in this class: Emmvee Titanium Duo (22.45%) and EGing PV STAR Pro (22.45%). The series therefore sits at the absolute top of available TOPCon modules in this power range, with no efficiency compromise relative to similarly priced competitors.
N-type TOPCon cells achieve a temperature coefficient of approximately -0.30%/°C, compared to ~-0.45%/°C for standard P-type PERC modules. At a typical module temperature of 55°C, this translates to roughly 7.5% higher yield versus PERC. The TOPCon architecture also eliminates the LID (Light-Induced Degradation) effect, resulting in a slower degradation curve over the full 25-year service life.
The bifacial cell structure generates 5–25% additional energy from the rear surface depending on ground albedo (concrete ~25%, grass ~20%, dark rooftop ~5%). In ground-mount and flat white-roof installations, bifaciality meaningfully lowers LCOE without increasing module count.
The 420–580 Wp range with eight variants covers both smaller residential rooftop installations (geometric roof constraints) and commercial MW-scale projects. It enables a single-supplier strategy and uniform string configuration without mixing electrical parameters from different series.
The manufacturer provides a 25-year linear power warranty, consistent with the standard offered by peer comparables in the segment (ZNShine ZXM7-UHLD144, Emmvee Titanium Duo, EGing PV STAR Pro). A linear — rather than step-down — guarantee provides better yield predictability for DCF financial models used by project lenders.
JS Solar does not appear on the BNEF Tier-1 bankable manufacturers list as of Q1 2026, whereas peer comparable ZNShine Solar holds Tier-1 status. The absence of Tier-1 classification may prevent module acceptance in projects financed under non-recourse project finance structures by European banks, which typically require Tier-1 status as a procurement approval condition.
The manufacturer has been operating since 2011 (~15 years of market presence) and lacks a verifiable history of large-scale utility reference projects in Europe. In the context of a 25-year power warranty, the absence of Tier-1 status combined with a relatively short track record represents higher warranty claim execution risk than established manufacturers within the global top-10 rankings.
- Module efficiency of 21.9% is 0.6pp below average for TOPCon 550-600W panels (median: 22.4%)
- Power density of 218.7 W/m² is 5.7 W/m² below TOPCon 550-600W median (224.4 W/m²) - needs more roof space
- Temperature coefficient of -0.30%/°C matches the TOPCon 550-600W median
- At 26.5 kg, this panel is 4.7 kg lighter than TOPCon 550-600W median (31.2 kg) - easier handling during installation
- Ranked #6908 out of 14005 panels for efficiency in the database
