Efficiency leader, no clear weak spot
The JT SJk(B) series combines N-type heterojunction (HJT) mono cell technology with a dual-glass, bifacial module design, making it one of the more advanced solutions currently available on the photovoltaic market. The use of N-type HJT cells together with half-cut and multi-busbar cell technology reduces resistive losses and increases energy yield even under unfavorable morning, evening, or overcast lighting conditions. Thanks to its bifacial dual-glass construction, these panels capture additional energy reflected from the ground surface, which is particularly beneficial for ground-mount installations, light-colored rooftops, and systems with elevated albedo. The series also stands out for its very low temperature coefficient of power, allowing it to maintain high performance even on hot days, when conventional modules lose efficiency. The dual-glass construction additionally provides resistance to LID and PID degradation, translating into stable operation and long service life for the installation. The reinforced frame and tempered glass withstand extreme snow and wind loads, making this series suitable for both commercial installations and solar power plants in demanding climatic conditions. This is a solution for investors seeking maximum long-term return on investment.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Utility-scale, commercial, hot-climate and shaded-installations.
Top 2% of the HJT 550-600 W segment, against a median of 22.48%. Ranked 1,570th in the whole database.
Top 2% of the HJT 550-600 W segment, against a median of 224.8. Ranked 1,636th in the whole database.
Top 2% of the HJT 550-600 W segment, against a median of 55.2. Ranked 5,478th in the whole database.
Efficiency of 22.3-23.1% places the series at the top of the segment, above comparable modules such as Talesun TM7G72M (22.8%), Horay Solar HS 182-144 (22.8%) and AE Solar HORIZON CMD-144BDS (22.86%). N-type HJT technology also offers a lower temperature coefficient than conventional PERC, translating into higher energy yield on hot days.
The dual-glass bifacial design recovers over 90% of power from the rear side, 2-4 percentage points higher than typical bifacial PERC modules. This delivers a real energy gain in ground-mount installations and on light-colored, high-albedo rooftop surfaces.
A 15-year product warranty combined with a 30-year linear power warranty matches the current premium standard for N-type bifacial modules and supports predictable LCOE modeling over a long investment horizon.
The dual-glass construction combined with N-type HJT technology significantly reduces light-induced (LID) and potential-induced (PID) degradation, resulting in a more stable annual degradation curve compared to standard single-glass PERC modules.
Jetion Solar has operated since 2004 and holds Tier-1 bankable status, reducing financial and service risk for long-term PPA agreements and project financing.
- Efficiency of 23.1% is 0.6pp above the HJT 550-600W median (22.5%)
- Power density of 230.9 W/m² packs 6.1 W/m² more into the same footprint vs HJT 550-600W median (224.8 W/m²)
- At -0.24%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for HJT 550-600W panels
- Weight of 30.7 kg (1.9 kg below HJT 550-600W median of 32.6 kg) allows easier transport and roof mounting
- Bifacial design (85% factor) captures reflected light - adds 4-13% yield on ground-mount or white roof
