Middle of its segment, heavy for its output
The DMEGC GHxxxM10T-B66HST series features advanced photovoltaic modules based on N-type TOPCon technology, which sets new performance standards in variable weather conditions. Thanks to the use of an innovative Double Glass design, these panels demonstrate extreme resistance to potential-induced degradation and the negative effects of material aging, translating into a significantly longer lifespan for the entire installation. They solve the key problem of power drops at high temperatures by offering a low temperature coefficient, making them an excellent choice for increasingly hot Polish summers. The high bifaciality characteristic of this series allows for the generation of additional energy from reflected radiation, which is particularly important for ground-mounted systems or light roof membranes. This product is aimed at demanding business investors and single-family homeowners who prioritize maximum energy yield from limited surface areas. What distinguishes them from the competition is a unique combination of high power density with a minimal LID effect, ensuring stable power production and a faster return on investment. This is an uncompromising solution combining mechanical durability with modern aesthetics and the highest reliability in the premium sector.

DMEGC N-type TOPCon modules exhibit a degradation rate of 0.42%/year versus the industry average of 0.7%/year (PV Evolution Labs 2024 data). After 30 years, the manufacturer guarantees retention of 87.4% of nominal power, translating into a measurably higher cumulative energy yield over the full operational lifetime of the system.
The dual-glass construction combined with bifacial cell technology enables additional energy generation from albedo radiation reflected off the mounting surface. In ground-mount installations over light-colored substrates or white roofing membranes, the real-world yield gain is 5–15% depending on the surface reflectance coefficient. The glass backsheet also eliminates the risk of encapsulant delamination and backsheet corrosion.
The 30-year performance warranty with 87.4% power retention at end of term is among the longest available in the segment. By comparison, many standard Tier-1 offerings—such as the Heliene 144HC M10 SL Bifacial in the same 540 Wp power class—cap their power warranty at 25 years. The extended coverage reduces financial risk in commercial and industrial installations with long investment horizons.
DMEGC Solar maintains Tier-1 status per BloombergNEF at least through Q3 2025, confirming bankability—the modules' suitability for project finance without recourse. The company has been in operation since 1980, which reduces manufacturer insolvency risk over the warranty horizon compared to younger suppliers without an established credit history.
N-type cells are inherently resistant to Light-Induced Degradation (LID) typical of p-type PERC cells, and the TOPCon architecture further suppresses LeTID. This results in more stable output during the initial months of operation and a higher real-world energy yield relative to the declared STC power rating.
The GHxxxM10T-B66HST series was discontinued in 2026 (production launch: 2023). This limits the availability of replacement modules in the event of failures or system expansions, and distributor support may become difficult once warehouse stock is depleted. For installations with a planned 25–30-year lifecycle, this represents a material risk factor.
The maximum efficiency of this series is 20.9%, while direct competitors in the same 540 Wp power class achieve: Gokin GK-5-60HG – 24.4% (+3.5 pp), Horay Solar HS 199R-120 TC-D Delta – 23.1% (+2.2 pp). The 3.5 pp gap versus Gokin means approximately 17% more roof area is required to achieve the same peak power output, which is a real constraint in space-limited rooftop applications.
The product warranty stands at 15 years, whereas newer DMEGC series (e.g., Infinity RT, 2024) and many premium-tier competitors already offer 20–25 years. The shorter coverage period for workmanship defects and mechanical damage increases the risk of out-of-warranty repair costs during the second half of the system's operational life.
- Efficiency of 20.9% is 1.6pp below the N-type 500-550W median (22.5%)
- At 209.0 W/m², this panel generates 16.3 W/m² less per unit area than N-type 500-550W median (225.3 W/m²)
- Temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C matches the N-type 500-550W median
- At 32.0 kg, this panel is 5.8 kg heavier than the N-type 500-550W median (26.2 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- 80% bifaciality enables rear-side power generation, boosting yield by 4-12% on reflective surfaces
