Space saver, no clear weak spot
The Goldi Solar GS10-B144-GF series is a bifacial glass-on-glass module designed for stable energy production even when conditions on the roof or ground are not ideal. The use of monocrystalline PERC cells in half-cut technology minimizes losses and improves performance under partial shading, while the multi-busbar design supports higher efficiency and better resistance to microcracks compared to many standard solutions.
In practice, the GS10-B144-GF helps reduce system costs due to its higher power density and more predictable performance over time. The module stands out with high PID resistance, which is important in high-voltage installations and in challenging environments. Its excellent performance in low light conditions is also a key advantage, particularly in autumn and winter in Poland.
It is a good choice for PV farms, large industrial rooftops, and agricultural properties, where durability, consistent energy yields, and a real advantage over typical monofacial panels are important.

Goldi Solar earned Top Performer status in the 10th edition of the Kiwa PVEL PV Module Reliability Scorecard — independently verified resilience across Thermal Cycling (TC), Damp Heat (DH), Potential-Induced Degradation (PID), and LID+LETID test sequences. Fewer than 50 manufacturers worldwide achieve this distinction, and it directly translates into a lower risk of premature power loss over the system lifetime.
The module harvests energy from both the front and rear surfaces — a typical bifacial gain of 5–15% additional annual yield for ground-mount and commercial rooftop installations. The glass-glass encapsulation provides superior moisture and UV resistance compared to standard backsheet modules (EVA/PET), supporting long-term durability over a 30-year operational horizon.
Cell halving lowers resistive losses and limits the impact of partial shading on the entire string — particularly relevant in Polish conditions where shading from chimneys, antennas, or adjacent buildings is common. Multi-busbar (MBB) technology reduces the risk of microcracks and improves current collection compared to conventional 4–5 busbar designs.
The manufacturer guarantees a linear power degradation schedule over 30 years, with a minimum of 87.4% of rated power output at year 30. This warranty is on par with best-in-class competitors (DAH Solar DHM-T72X10/BF/FS offers an equivalent 30-year term), reducing long-term financial risk for the system owner.
Goldi Solar is listed as a Tier-1 bankable manufacturer by Bloomberg NEF — a key requirement for securing project financing from commercial banks and investment funds for utility-scale PV projects. This status is confirmed by module supply to projects backed by at least six independent commercial banks.
The GS10-B144-GF was officially discontinued in 2024 after three years of production (2021–2024). This results in limited availability on the secondary market, difficulty sourcing identical replacement modules in the event of a failure, and potential warranty service complications as manufacturer and distributor inventories continue to shrink.
The materials and workmanship warranty covers only 12 years, whereas the current market standard for premium bifacial modules is 15–25 years (e.g., DAH Solar and Exiom both offer 15 years). Over a 30-year system lifecycle, a 12-year product warranty may be viewed as a drawback that reduces the overall service value of the package.
A Pmax temperature coefficient of -0.35%/°C is typical for PERC technology, but noticeably higher than that of N-type TOPCon modules (-0.29 to -0.30%/°C) available since 2023 at comparable price points. In the Polish climate the difference is modest; however, for utility-scale PV farms targeting maximum summer yield, it represents a measurable performance limitation.
- Efficiency of 21.7% matches the PERC 550-600W median
- At 216.9 W/m² power density, this panel generates 4.0 W/m² more per unit area than PERC 550-600W median (212.9 W/m²)
- At -0.35%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for PERC 550-600W panels
- At 32.0 kg, this panel is 1.2 kg heavier than the PERC 550-600W median (30.8 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- 70% bifaciality enables rear-side power generation, boosting yield by 4-10% on reflective surfaces
