Light for its output, no clear weak spot
The Exiom EX540-560M(B)-144(HC)(182) module series is a technologically advanced solution based on M10-type monocrystalline cells, which significantly increases solar energy conversion efficiency in challenging operating conditions. Thanks to the use of Half-Cut design and Multi-Busbar (MBB) technology, these panels effectively minimize internal losses and reduce the risk of micro-cracks, which directly translates into stable operation for decades. The use of larger 182 mm silicon wafers allows for high power output per unit, which is key to optimizing installation and support structure costs while maintaining high efficiency. These modules solve the problem of limited installation space, offering maximum yield from every square meter of roof or ground. Their high resistance to the PID phenomenon and excellent temperature parameters make this series stand out from the competition with stable energy production even on hot days. This product is primarily dedicated to demanding commercial and industrial installations, where a fast return on investment and the highest component reliability are essential. Exceptional mechanical resistance to snow and wind loads guarantees the safety of the entire system in variable weather conditions, typical for the Polish climate.

Top 25% of the PERC 550-600 W segment, against a median of 27 yrs.
The manufacturer guarantees module performance for 30 years, surpassing the market-standard 25-year linear power warranty applied by comparable competitors such as DAH Solar and Premier Energies in the 540–560 Wp segment. For commercial and industrial installations, this translates into genuinely longer investment protection and a more favorable LCOE calculation.
In late 2024, Exiom commissioned a 500 MW PV module manufacturing facility in Langreo, Asturias, in partnership with Iberdrola — the first large-scale PV panel factory in Spain. European origin is a critical differentiator in EU public tenders subject to the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and in projects drawing on European support schemes that require a local supply chain.
The combination of half-cut cells (144 HC), multi-busbar (MBB) interconnection technology, and the 182 mm wafer format minimizes internal resistive losses and the risk of microcracks, while achieving 540–560 Wp in a compact 144-cell layout. Compared with the G12 (210 mm) format, this eases logistics and installation on standard racking structures originally designed for older module formats.
The top variant in the series reaches 21.7% module efficiency, virtually identical to the DAH Solar DHM-T72X10/BF (21.72%) and Goldi Solar GS10-B144-GF (21.7%). On constrained roof areas — commercial and industrial rooftops — this delivers comparable energy yield per m² to the leading manufacturers in this power class.
Exiom does not appear on the BloombergNEF Tier 1 bankable manufacturers list (as of Q1 2026). In practice, this complicates debt financing for large-scale installations through independent commercial banks and may be a disqualifying factor in EPC tenders or project-finance transactions where module bankability is a formal due-diligence requirement.
The series is based on P-type PERC cells, while the market has been consolidating around N-type TOPCon since 2023–2024 (annual degradation ~0.40%/yr for TOPCon vs. ~0.55%/yr for PERC, with no LID effect in year one). Exiom itself already offers a newer TOPCon line — the EX565-585TC(B)-144(HC)(182) series — meaning this series is technologically superseded even within the manufacturer's own current portfolio.
The series does not feature bifacial cells (is_bifacial: false), whereas both key peer comparables — the DAH Solar DHM-T72X10/BF/FS and the Premier Energies 144 Half Cut PERC Bifacial Dual Glass — offer bifaciality with a potential additional energy yield of 5–20% from reflected irradiance. In ground-mounted commercial installations over high-albedo surfaces, the difference in annual energy yield is measurable and directly impacts project IRR.
